• So far, I’ve only liked the Lime Crime liquid lipstick formula. I know a lot of people say that it’s a bit drying at times, but it’s nothing that a little raw shea butter on the lips can’t fix. I hear wonderful things about Kat Von D’s liquid lipsticks, but I’ve never tried ANYTHING from KVD before. Maybe, one day.

• For the longest time, I used the Wet n Wild H2O Proof H2O Proof Liquid Eyeliner. I have very oily eyelids and I’m prone to raccoon eyes whenever I wear eyeliner or mascara. I tried many types of liners, but Wet n Wild was the only one that worked to combat my oiliness; however, some days it stayed put, and some days it didn’t. I’ve since found something better that works 100% of the time, but it’s not liquid. But Wet n Wild is affordable and it works.

• I don’t buy many liquid highlighters, because my oily skin can only tolerate so much when it comes to products I apply to my face. The only one that I’ve used that hasn’t caused any irritation or acne flair ups to my skin is MAC’s Strobe Liquid formula.

â– Best liquid lipstick formula? Interesting question. I think Kat Von D and Sephora brand both feel better than ABH–smoother, not so oppressively thick and tacky on. However, I’m not wild about Kat herself so so far I’ve stuck with Sephora and ABH. I could be swayed if a color was really something special, but I haven’t been sufficiently impressed yet. I’m VERY interested in the blue Anastasia came out with for this fall! I agree with Christine that her formula isn’t competitive with other brands but part of me still wishes it would be reviewed…
As an aside, I think it’s really funny that so many mainstream brands (ABH, MAC, KVD) decided that navy blue was the quirky lipstick color to finally make this year! I love blue and am excited to see it offered, but why so few grays (not taupe, but GRAY such as the perpetually sold out Melt Space Cake) and greens? Presumably because blue is just a step removed from purple and purple is not so odd, whereas gray and green feel more costumey, but hey I’d buy them! In for a penny, in for a pound!
â– Best liquid eyeliner formula? UD. Stila Stay All Day is great too, but the pen dries out faster and isn’t quite as good for precision, especially as it begins to dry out.
â– Best liquid highlighter formula? Becca in any color for a very natural, all over highlight, Benefit High Beam for a more pearly spot highlight

Best liquid eyeliner formula? I don’t use liquid liners much; I prefer gels. I separate them into awful or good, but I’ve never tried one I thought was extraordinary.

Uh I missed the “liquid” in the higlighter question… I only have one liquid highlighter which is a technically primer, but it’s reaaally intense and I prefer mix it with foundation. It’s Lumene’s Illuminating and smoothing primer!

Best liquid highlighter formula?: I don’t really use them. I stick with cream or powder. I think I’ve tried Benefit’s High Beam and didn’t mind it but I didn’t love it enough to buy it.
KissMe Heroine Make black liquid eyeliner is amazing–nice, dark black, lasts really well, and has a fantastic, very fine applicator. I don’t wear liquid lipstick or liquid highlighter. My skin tone is fair/neutral.
Your skintone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones, MAC C4.5 Studio Fix Liquid foundation, deep brunette, teal green eyes w/ gold flecks.
Best liquid lipstick formula: I really haven’t tried too many, to be honest. I have tried a few by Nyx and one by Smashbox (100 pt. Sephora reward), and really liked the non-matte Smashbox one because even though it’s not matte, it lasted and left a nice stain behind.
Best liquid eyeliner: Well considering that my gel liners DO start off as liquid; Essence Gel Liner in Midnight In Paris is great for doing a pretty ironclad winged cat-eye! I also love MAC Fluidline in Siahi! I do however wonder*why* Waveline is so freakin finicky???
Best liquid highlighter: Hands down: Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheers!!! Can hardly wait to get No. 14 when my rather generous sample runs out!

Best liquid lipstick formula?
I don’t have experience with too many liquid lipstick formulae but the one coming to mind that I have tried is Too Faced’s Melted. I love how it feels lightweight on, like I have very little on my lips, while it had great colour intensity and really good staying power. I only have two colours but I’ll definitely expand my collection soon! Runners up are the Ellis Faas Hot Lips liquid lipsticks. They are very similar and have some amazing colours. I really, really love L404 Fluo Pink!
Best liquid eyeliner formula?
Again, I haven’t tried many liquid liners but of the ones I have tried it has to be the Shiseido Automatic Fine Eyeliner. The main reason is the brush tip which allows for really precise lining. It loses points though for Shiseido changing it from a gorgeous metallic refillable pen to a plastic non-refillable one. I still like it though! Runner up is the Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner. You can’t go wrong with it since it’s a great liner at a great price. 🙂
Best liquid highlighter formula?
It’s a toss-up between the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector and the Rouge Bunny Rouge Seas of Illumination. For me it has to be the Rouge Bunny Rouge range though since I prefer the shades they offer that work for my skin tone. Sea of Tranquillity is absolutely gorgeous! The formula dries down quickly and it gives just the right amount of glow, although you can certainly vary it. I love highlighters and for me both the Becca and the Rouge Bunny Rouge formulae are genuinely good.

Best liquid lipstick formula? Jeffree Star and Anastasia. Funny because I hated the first shade of Anastasia’s liquid lipstick I got (Unicorn) but it was because I didn’t prep my lips well enough, and Unicorn is more difficult to work with than the other shades I’ve tried (Veronica and Paint). LA Splash is another good choice for more unusual colors like green and grey, and their formula is longer lasting but more drying than the previous two.
