Sneak Peek: Viseart Eyeshadow Palettes (x4) Photos & Swatches
Viseart Bridal Satin (03) Eyeshadow Palette
Last year, Viseart Eyeshadow Palettes ($80.00 for 0.84 oz. each) popped up on Sephora. I bought two of the palettes last November, and I ended up buying the other two last week. Viseart has additional palettes available at more professional beauty retailers, while Sephora currently carries the four in this post. They go in and out of stock frequently (I only snagged them last week after getting an email notification), as they seem to be quite popular. Full reviews to come soon! 🙂

I really want to try a Viseart palette!
Which one has your eye?
A while back, in a moment of weakness (there are many), I bought the neutral matte palette. The formula is AH-MAY-ZING! Some are a little powdery in the pan, but applied… dreamy!
Glad you’re enjoying your palette, Kristen!
I’m glad I’m not the only one whose matte palette does not swatch entirely impressively. Sure, there are a few good shades, but half of my palette is rather dry and stiff and doesn’t blend well, especially the bottom row. None of my shades are actually creamy and silky as so many others have described their palette to be–I would say mine are thin in texture–and I have to layer quite a bit to get some colour; at least it doesn’t look chalky when I layer. It’s not a terrible palette, but it’s certainly not fantastic either. I did notice some reviewers on Sephora had the same issue as I did, so it could just be a bad batch. I do like some of the colours, though, but I wish there was a cooler transition shade other than the peaches, as I’m so fair and most of the shades look medium to dark on my skintone.
I heard their satins and metallics have a divine texture, so I’m still interested in testing those out. They look lovely in your swatches.
There’s a definite texture different between the mattes/satins. The shimmery shades are much, much denser/thicker in consistency.
These are beautiful but I wish they added some matte shades in the shimmery palettes! That matte palette has been on my wishlist for years though, maybe one day I’ll treat myself and get it!
I believe the way they built the line is you start with the Neutral Matte as the base palette, and then everything builds/works with that, so that’s why they’re separated out (from my understanding, at least).
Yes, that is what Anastasia has said. So, for instance, you get the neutral mattes palette (although they do have a cool mattes palette now too) and then you get the bridal palette to use with it for weddings, etc. Alone the bridal does not provide the transition shades or neutrals.
What impresses me most about them (I have four) is that when used sheerly, the mattes have a GLOW to them that you don’t tend to get from mattes. Although IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty palettes are similar but not totally. I have had people mesmerized by the neutral mattes when I wear them and normally no one even notices neutral mattes. And their performance on aging eyes is nice too- esp if used without a primer.
The depth and dimension is what makes this so fascinating- something that is nearly impossible to capture on camera.
Do you know this palette is easy to depot too . you can always arrange colors one palette to another palette or put in Z palette with colors which you want .they have ever thing to depot it you do not any heat to melt the stuff. i love how compact ant small it is .
These are easily my favorite palettes- I have the neutral and the cool mattes and both are amazing!
Awesome!
Oh wow wow, the neutral matte palette could be exactly what I’m looking for!
Yay!
The swatches on the Bridal Satin look pretty impressive! I might have to pick one up.
Here’s hoping they turn out well.
Oh no, I like exactly two shades from each palette! Wish these were singles/create your own palette!
Awwww!
Love these shades <3 You've done an outstanding job with the swatches Christine!! Bridal Satin palette is something I would more than love to own, such a gorgeous collection of shades it has!!
Thanks a lot!
That Neutral Matte Eyeshadow Palette has me written all over it. I just can’t bring myself to pay $80 for it.
I totally understand! It’s a lot to drop at once.
I finally purchased the Neutral Matte one last week. I also purchased the Cool Matte palette from another retailer and can’t wait to get it. If they are half as good as the vast majority of reviews, I’ll be a happy camper.
Curious to hear your thoughts about the Paris Nude palette since that’s the only sparkly one that tempted me.
Fingers crossed you like yours, Christina!
Sultry Muse is beautiful but full of colors I can’t pull off — the kind of palette I buy aspirationally, hoping magically my coloring will make *this* time be different…
I do also like the look of Paris Nude, and that one’s a bit more promising for actual use…
Aww! Probably not the best aspirational buy at this price point. Hopefully Paris Nude works out!
i have the neutral matte from the last sephora sale and LOVE IT!! it’s literally the perfect nude. i also have my eyes on bridal and paris nude next. i’d like to hold out til the next sale but since they dnt stay in stock long. i know people gripe about the price but the quality alone is worth it.
They definitely don’t last long, lol!
Wow bridal and paris nudes look so pretty!!! Very expensive though!
For sure!
I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on these. I keep hearing they’re the best of the best!
We shall see! 🙂
These look insanely gorgeous, and I’ve read nothing but raves. I’ve got to get my hands on Bridal Satin one of these days.
It is brighter than I expected!
Oh, SO glad you are reviewing these!!! I have Paris Nude and love it (the finish is so radiant and refined), but at $80 a piece, I don’t want to buy the other kits without seeing reviews and swatches first. Eagerly awaiting your reviews
Glad to hear you like Paris Nude!
To my amazement, these are exactly the same price in Canada as in the US but two of them are already sold out (including the Paris Nudes, which I love the look of) and they’re also “online only” and if I’m parting with 80 bucks, I need to see the stuff “in the flesh”. But these look gorgeous (Souris and Cendre are my sort of neutrals) and I will be eager to read your reviews, Christine.
The stock went FAST! I got the notification late last week, immediately bought Paris Nude/Sultry Muse and by the time I was putting together the sneak peek last night, they were gone.
LOL! As soon as you get the email notification, you have to dump the kit in your cart and hit purchase or else it will be gone. I found out the hard way the first time. I got the email on Paris Nude, was excited beyond belief, threw it in my cart, but started looking at the other palettes, and like 5 minutes later, my cart was empty, and Paris Nude was sold out!
Viva la magnificente!!! I am totally in love with these! Especially digging Paris Nude and Bridal Satin. But ALL 4 are utterly sumptuous and rich looking. My only concern is that these appear orange-heavy? While I do look great in orangy tones, I just hope it’s not overkill. I am so looking forward to your reviews on these in the future!
They do have four or five? other palettes available – I know there’s a cooler-toned matte palette within those – that aren’t at Sephora.
The Neutral Matte palette reminds me of the Sonia Kashuk eye on neutrals palette. Have you tried that one? It looks lovely and very inexpensive!
Sorry, I haven’t!
I’m glad your reviewing these. I’ve looked at these before and almost bought one or two. But, then I decided to continue building my mufe collection with these being priced as high as they are. I’m really curious to see how these compare.
They are hard to get a hold of on Sephora. I think that’s why I wound up not getting the ones I initially was going to get .They went out of stock within like an hour or so. So, my mind was made up for me. Then I fell in love with MUFE.:)
They are harder to track down, unfortunately! 🙁
I told myself, “no more neutral matte palettes,” but this one really intrigues me. In fact, I like the look of all of them, especially Paris Nudes. My poor bank account….
These do some damage to the wallet!
Been wondering if you would review these. Couldn’t wait, and bought the matte palette last fall. Mine swatches and wears great. Love it! Just received the Paris nude in the mail yesterday, beautiful colors but had some staying power issues on my oily lids. Going to try today with a primer and see what happens.
I could see the formula potentially having issues on oily lids — a very dense/thick formula (and those seem to hold up more poorly on oily lids).
Hi Barbara! I have oily lids and the Paris Nude palette. I have 2 primers that work well with my shadows, including Paris Nude – Fergie Wet N Wild Take On the Day (goes on clear, is thinner) and the Bare Minerals 5-in-1 Advanced BB Cream Shadow SPF 15 (this one comes in different colors, is thicker, and I use Linen color because it’s my skintone) . Hope this helps.
Viseart’s palettes are gorgeous. I am enjoying the Neutral Matte palette. The new palette looks beautiful, but I keep eying the Paris Nudes because I would love Saint Germain, Vendome and, I think, Jeu de Paume because they’re shades I don’t have.
Paris Nude is an interesting set of shades!
I’d love to hear if these live up to the hype, especially the matte palette. I’m curious about these, though I’m rarely tempted by anything these days (or I should say, tempted but rarely enough to buy)
We’ll see!
That matte palette looks amazing! The color selection is just perfect and the swatches don’t look bad at all. I’ve heard a lot of good things about Viseart palettes but I don’t know if I can drop $80 on anl eyeshadow palette
I have heard a lot of good things, too!
Hi Christine, I just picked these up last week as well! I was hoping you would review them someday! Great timing! I’m so excited for these!!
Also, I’m curious, are the eyeshadow names located on the boxes? Thank you so much for reviewing these!!!! I’m excited to see how they do!!!!
Nope, and I expected that they wouldn’t have names, but Sephora listed names in the description box on their site.
Awesome!
I really like Bridal Satin a lot. I have never heard of this brand, so I don’t suppose it’s available here 🙁
I have no idea what their global distribution is like 🙁
They all look pretty lovely, but I also think there is a lot of overlap of colours in each of the palettes. However, apart from the matte one, they also look very ownable…….
You probably don’t need to have them all for sure!
They all look so sparkly.
Yeah, from what I understand, one is supposed to use the Neutral Matte as your “base” palette and combine with the satin palettes.
Bridal Satin and Paris Nude are stunning!
Bridal Satin is brighter than I thought it would be!
I love the matte palette! Cendre looks like a great shade for a dramatic contour, too.
I’ll wait for your review before I jump the gun, though.
Here’s hoping it works out!
Ah, Christine…I was doing so well at resisting these until I saw your post!! Your reviews will make or break my final decision to break my bank. No pressure. Lol
lol!
Paris Nude and Bridal Satin are AMAZING!!!!
Yay!
Bridal.. Mmmm! Please cost a penny, thank you! 😛 Thank you for posting these! You have SO MUCH.. I’m just amazed you’re still poppin and going! Amen! 🙂 XOXO
No prob!
I would like to try the Matte palette and the Sultry Muse .
Fun picks!
Ughhhh! Orange Topaz from the Bridal Palette is amazing looking. I need a dupe for that because there is no way I would pay that much for 1 palette when I only want 1 color. Sooo pretty!!
Hopefully there’s a dupe!
Wow this is weird! I woke up this morning and suddenly felt the urge to check these out, as I was researching online you posted this! Can’t wait to see your full review on these bad boys, I want to try to narrow it down to just one of them instead of all but I don’t know how I am able to do that…
Great timing!
Oh Christine, Christine (tapping fingers), I blame you for making me buying these thinking you won’t review them 😉 I have the cool and neutral matte palette. They are amazing. Sultry Muse is on its way to me. I’m so excited for your reviews 🙂
Enjoy, Valerie!
It’s amazing how expensive these are, I was interested if you’re planning to swatch Coastal Scents eyeshadows at any time? 🙂
Sorry, I don’t have anything from Coastal Scents.
The hot pots are quite good.
I broke down and bought the neutral matte palette during the VIB sale in April…but in my head, I was thinking, “There’s no way that this will be $80 worth of good. It’s probably all just hype.”
And then I used it and I was like, sh**, it really is that good!
And you are at least getting a lot of product for the price. The Viseart palette is $95.24/oz. while the Too Faced Natural Matte Palette is $92.31/oz, the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Palette is $92.11/oz., the Stila Eyes are the Window palettes are $96.08/oz, and the Urban Decay Naked Basics palettes are $96.67/oz. So it’s not really priced that much higher than palette put out by many other brands.
On the other hand, the new KvD palette is only $76.67/oz. and it is BOMB!
And I’m not crazy about the color selection for the neutral matte palette. So many of the shades are soooo similar.
That formula, tho.
They do contain a ton of product at least!
Man, I wanted to pick up one of these palettes from IMATS last November but they didn’t have the matte one and I wasn’t sure about the quality of the other 2 I saw.
I think I’ll get the Paris Nude (06) next time if they have it.
They also have a bright’s palette now. Like Inglot brights!!!
Nice! I saw they had a Pearl Bright palette, but I don’t think it’s in-stock anywhere!
I think the Bridal Satin palette looks the least “bridal” out of all four! Definitely not the soft, natural colors that are characteristic of bridal looks.
Perhaps they were trying to cater to more skin tones, as many of the colors I’ve seen touted as bridal wouldn’t suit medium and darker skin tones 🙂 I know it is also supposed to be combined with their base (Neutral Matte) palette.
I didn’t even think of other skin tones. That makes sense!
Bridal Satin looks much nicer than I’d thought it would be; I always figured it would be really pastel-ish.
Sadly, the 02 Brights seems to have completely disappeared. Of course, because that’s the one I actually wanted…
It has some depth to it!
By the time I got to them Paris Nude had sold out. I got the Neutral Matte and the Sultry Muse and am anxiously awaiting them by mail, but man, I wish I had managed to get Paris Nude instead of Sultry Muse. It just looks so beautiful, muted, and wearable. Maybe they’ll have it back in stock in a couple of months, it would be perfect for fall/winter colours! I’m excited to read the forthcoming review!
They went really fast!
I’ve heard nothing but praise about Viseart shadows. There are some really pretty colors. Looking at your swatches, the Bridal Satin palette is my favorite.
Here’s hoping they hold up!
how do these hold up so far? MUFE vs Viseart….
As a makeup artist I’ve known about, and used, Viseart for some time now. These shadows are by FAR the best eyeshadows I have ever used. While some shades may not feel “creamy” to the touch like say Urban Decay, LORAC, etc. they are more pigmented. Because they are so pigmented you have to use less product. When you use less then build you see how truly blend able and gorgeous these palettes truly are. I can honestly say that for the past two years I’ve used the Matte 01 palette on every single person I worked on. If I’m not using it for eyeshadow I’m using it for brows, contour, or highlight. Believe the hype, they’re THAT good.
Happy to hear you like them, Chris!
Where did you buy the 06 Paris Nude palette?
I have the 01 Neutral Matte, and I love it so much.
But I can’t buy the 06, it’s sold out everywhere.
I bought mine from Sephora!
i just purchased this palette because, although I don’t go crazy over neutral shades, I do understand their necessity. I wanted to find eyeshadows that would provide a base for and help blend my colors seamlessly, as well as offer high quality contour shades. I really feel that the matte neutrals palette does both. I especially love the color selection, as they lend themselves so well to mimicking shadows and blending in with natural skin tones. I actually don’t find the price to be unreasonable at all, considering their quality and craftsmanship. I did, however, off-set the cost by a little more than half by returning another brand’s neutrals palette which I don’t feel to be necessary anymore. I am definitely planning to save up and purchase more of the Viseart palettes.
