Is it summer or are colors back in fashion? Wow, I’m truly impressed— not one brown in this whole collection, and all permanent! Awesome, thanks Marc!

I looked at Midnight in Paris when it was in store the last time (part of set?) and it was nice but not nice “enough” to justify the crazy price, especially here in Canada. I don’t recall it being all that great quality. When I buy MJ, I’ll stick with shades that are more “every day” for me and buy Sephora’s pencils (which I also use every day) for the colours I don’t wear all that often.

Is it bad that I kind of hope these are terrible? Because if they’re good I might accidentally buy them all! Especially the candy pastels in the middle (Peridot, Top Seacret, Lollipop, Blue Me Away, and Violet Femme). Bye bye, rainy day fund.

YES! I am so happy I didn’t give in and purchase that holiday collection now that Midnight in Paris is being made permanent. It’s the one color I truly wanted out of the set. =)

Oh wow! I am really liking some of these! I really dislike pencils that cannot be sharpened. But, I have caved and bough a few of the other shades for tightline and waterlining because they stay and do not irritate my eyes. I think some of these may be worth figuring out how to deal with a dull point to line my upperlash line. They are gorgeous. The price is so high though and I find they don’t last too long either.I hope you get to review and swatch some Christine! Just went on my wishlist!

I have yet to try this formula and I have no idea why, because some of the colours look really nice. I’ve been looking for a slightly shimmery nude (replacement for Mac I Get No Kick, which is on its last legs and isn’t as even as I’d like) and a soft green for a while, so I might have to take the plunge with those.

Am really looking forward to your reviews on these, Christine! I had a chance to try one at Sephora yesterday, the Peridot. Not sure were they were getting “sage” from, it’s much more of a bright grass green with plenty of shimmer. It wears like iron, but unfortunately I felt like a Christmas tree wearing it! Just too bright and shiny for me. If it had been a cream or pearl finish, maybe… anyway, I just saved $25, I figure — unless I break down and finally order Luna(tic) before the sale ends tonight!
