Laura Mercier Artist’s Palette for Eyes ($55.00 for 0.36 oz.) seems to have been re-released! I reviewed this here (November 2013), and it was one of the better-selling holiday palettes. Thought I would pass it along that it appears to be back at Sephora with the same packaging and shade range according to the image and accompanying description! (It looked familiar, but I was hoping it was totally new!)
The price has been raised to $55.00 from $48.00. This is one of my favorite palettes. I’m debating buying a backup as it really is fantastic. 🙂
Prices go up every year on makeup. If this was released back in 2013, I’m not surprised it went up.
I was merely pointing it out not saying it was a bad thing. 🙂

Because fluctuation, everything is bound to go up in 2 years.
I saw this earlier today and immediately purchased it. I was bummed I missed it the first time and gave up trying to find it (for a reasonable price) on eBay. So psyched about this one! Can’t wait to get it.
Christine, thanks for the heads up – I missed out the first time around. On another note, I’m not too happy the price went up from $48 to $55. I might want to wait for the VIB sale.
This packaging and colors remind me so much of the Lancome Runway Temptations palette that came out a few years ago.

Just bought mine! I missed out on it when it was first released and I was bummed about it. I know the VIB sale is coming up soon, but I’d hate to miss out on this again.
I really want this! But for some reason it won’t show up in my basket no matter how many times I add it in. I even tried different browsers 🙁

Those plum shades are gorgeous. I’m not surprised the price went up a little after a year and a half.
This palette is now $70 Canadian dollars… No wonder they re-released… Pass.
Thanks for posting this! This is a great palette. My sister has this still. I did her makeup for a holiday party with this. It is surprisingly nice to work with. I don’t have any other LM shadows to compare though. I just ordered mine! No way am I risking letting this go for 15% off! it’s a gem.Nice plums are hard to get in a palette. The price increase is a bummer.
Oh, wow! I haven’t seen a palette with this many colors get all A’s ! Very impressive. I have a feeling this one is going to sell out fast again….

I like the shade selection and that Violet shadow is the star. Still not sure if I want to pick it up.
Thanks so much for the heads up. Yes, I pounced on this one too. I really regretted missing this one first time around despite having one of the other pro palettes and a pretty healthy stash with probable dupes. The key here for me is quality so I had to have it.

I just had to…. I wanted this palette so bad when it was first released. Wished I could convince myself to wait for the sale, especially since I just ordered the Viseart matte palette two days ago, but just don’t want to miss out again. Seems this would be such a great travel palette and such a nice mix of cool and warm, and mattes and shimmers…. yep, still justifying 🙂
Great news, glad they brought it back. I was looking for it for so long that I eventually made a custom palette with most of these shades, will buy anyway. If I get lucky this time 🙂
AHHHH! Why couldn’t they make it permanent! I missed this the first time around and I definitely want to get it. I’m debating whether or not to wait for the VIB sale….it did go up…but what if miss it again? *tears hair out*

This is the only makeup item I’ve ever obsessively hunted down and paid scalper prices for. I’m glad this rerelease means more people can enjoy it!

I wish they would have repromoted the 2012 palette. I missed that one but I have this one.
I love this palette so much. I use it all the time. But I don’t think I need a back up, but for those who missed out and like purples, it’s a really good one!
Would kill for them to repromote the 2012 palette. This one is okay. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve used mine in about a year. The mattes are lovely but I found the shimmers to be fairly underpigmented. But that’s usual with LM shadows.
Any idea if the UK will get this?

Ooh.. The colors are absolutely beautiful! But sheesh why would they increase the price for an old product coming back in stock..
I am a little confused on this — is this “left over” from 2013 or brand newly manufactored?
Also, colors look similar to Lorac unzipped — anyone have both that can comment?

I have both those palettes and they are very different, no similarities.
I have the day off today so I was home when mine arrived not 20 minutes ago (totally “Temptalia made me do it! I gave in to temptation and ordered pretty much right when I saw this post!) and the outer packaging design is different, so it wouldn’t be left over. It’s got a brown on brown leaf/flower vine kind of motif – pretty, but definitely not the pebbled look I have seen it in before. It looks SO pretty. I can’t try it for a little over a week though because I am about to have eye surgery so no eye makeup allowed the week before or after. I keep forgetting and thinking of looks I want to try and then remembering!

Would you say get this palette or the tartlette palett

I just received mine in the mail this morning. The packaging sadly is different. It doesn’t look quite as nice. There is no texture on the outside, just a deep burgundy and black floral print.
The packaging is different, with slightly less product, for a slightly higher price. If you missed out the first time though, like I did, you won’t be disappointed! I got mine in the mail today and immediately swatched it. Amazing texture
Totally obsessed with this palette. Everyday good reliable palette. Hit pan on some shades. Happy to be buying back ups of this.. Thank you for the heads up.
Hi, can you do a comparison? I heard that the shadows are more dry/powdery than the original palette :/

OMG! I was in such a panic back when this Laura Mercier Palette was released in 2013. It is definitely on of my all time favorite palettes and have hit pan on 3 shades so I may just have to pick up another one just to be on the safe side. Amazing Palette and well worth the bucks.
I didn’t pay a lot of attention to palettes back in 2013 so I am not surprised I missed it. I did recently purchase it based on the rave reviews I’d seen about it and it does not disappoint except in price. It is pricey but then again so are a lot of palettes such as some high end quads that are terrible in pigmentation and application plus well over $55. Anyway, really enjoy this palette.
