Thanks, Dee!
Thank you for the review and round-up! I have to stop and look at these every time I go past them at the counter in Nordstrom! All of them are gorgeous! I know i am going to cave by the time the warm wheather comes and get some..Seems perfect for any easy eye look. The layering like you do, i think I will need to practice. So I appreciate the warning on that. I am liking your faves and I can’t decide between gold ashes or gold copper! I need to hit the lotto! 🙂
LOL! Wouldn’t it be nice if you hit the lotto? 😉
I think they’re SUPER easy to use as a 1-2 color look. If you want to use more 3-4, then there might be a learning curve for anyone who hasn’t used a similar formula. Not too hard to get the hang of it, but it might be one of those, “Ooooh, it has this type of texture/this is how you blend” moments the first time out.
YES!YES! it would be beyond nice to hit the lotto! i would be sure to remember you! can you imagine my makeup stash..outta control!
LOL! I have those moments all the time!~I get ya!
Shadow and Emeraude are surely my favorites!
Both great picks! 😀
I love the round ups redesign! The info looks super clear. xx
Thanks, Marta!
I love it too, thanks Christine!
xoxo
Looking forward to picking up one of these .. I remember CoverGirl came out with something similar only the colors were so light and shimmery that they were a dud.
Monica.
Ahh, if only a drugstore brand would do these just as well… Fingers crossed L’Oreal gives it a shot since they own GA!
I have two so far (Rose Ashes and Emeraude) and Cold Copper is on the way. I really love these and completely agree with your ratings for the two that I have. I’m normally not a liquid or cream product fan (eye shadows, blushes or liquid lipstick), but these were a really pleasant surprise.
They’re really lovely – and like you, liquid eyeshadow and I haven’t been friends… ever? possibly.
I think I have 8 out of the 12 shades haha. No willpower whatsoever, LOL. These are my current eye product obsession.
Thanks for the round up review posts. I find them super helpful – very clear and concise.
They’re hard to resist!! Do you think you’ll get the other four or are you done? 😉 Which ones are your must-haves?
I think I’m all set with most out of the 12 shades available LOL! I was tempted by Minuit and Jade but I think I can live without them, blue is a favourite of mine but green even more so. My must-have favs are Emeraude (see, I heart green no matter what haha) and Cold Copper (gorgeous go-to natural everyday shade). I’ve been using Shadow quite a lot more recently and love it for a quick one-shade smokey eye look =)
Emeraude is REALLY good for an emerald green, and it is HARD to do it right!!
I really don’t think they are worth the price, at all! I mean, $38?! Eek! Plus, cream shadows don’t last nearly as long as powder ones, so I have no interest whatsoever in these guys, regardless of how beautiful they look!
Just depends on what you’re looking for! 🙂
Fab summary post! I am definitely getting one of these. Which one, I’m not sure yet, lol. I want to go swatch them myself before deciding.
Can’t wait to see which one(s) you get!
So beautiful – such gorgeous colours. Thank you for the reviews – it makes it so much easier for us beauty fans. Well done Christine!
Always my pleasure! 🙂
Just wanted to comment and say I love the format of this post!
Thanks, Adele!
These are so pretty and several of the colors seem really unique. Unfortunately, they are well outside my budget unless I get a better job or start playing (and winning) the lottery!!
Ah, well, let’s dream about winning the lottery 😉
i love the format too! it’s so great if you’re considering getting one but can’t remember which colors were duds!
every time i see Jade, i get mad. jade = green! not turquoise! it’s never turquoise although it can also come in lavender or brown shades! sorry, just had to get that off my chest. it’s a huge pet peeve 😛
I know, I know! Every time I type out “Jade” for that, I’m like… no, not at all.
I am loving all of these green hues. I can’t get enough of green and all of its variations lately. I’m afraid the learning curve for me would be a great one, but maybe I’ll give it a shot – just for Jade.
Jade is a fun pick!
