I’m sooooo waiting for swatches and reviews on these! Love that they are permanent, and even though I heard that the eye shadows are tiny, they seem like great palettes for travel.

They look to be a Yaby size pans. I thing it’s great though for the price as you get 9 shades to try out. But I’m surprised by the lack of having a highlighter shade in each palette.

Amber and Burgundy Times Nine palette I’m interested in because I actually don’t own any MAC pan eyeshadows anymore other than Blanc Type, (use them up but didn’t repurchase).

LipstickHoarder Avatar

It looks like combined palettes to me. Burgundy times nine alone with Amber times nine.

The only eyeshadows I own of MAC is two from their Aquatic collection. Love them and really got my eyes on Burgundyx9.

I believe the palette in the picture is the 15 pan warm palette. It’s a current product in the line that is re promoted with this collection.

Tea Avatar

It is Burgundy 100% and that would be the first pic, I think she placed her pics in the wrong order! The shadows look a bit different in person 🙂 hopefully that helps

Isn’t that weird? At least they’r shades that will go with navy, but…why not navy blue instead of the sparkly black?

These are surprisingly nice! I have a big enough makeup collection that they would be a bit redundant for me personally, but if I had a less well rounded collection or was more interested in collecting for the sake of collecting, I would be all over this. Bonus points for including Haux, possibly my all time favorite MAC shadow and defo an underrated product within the brand.

I’m going to Nordstrom today to check these out in person. I really like the purple, burgundy and amber colors . Glad they are small since I rarely finish a eyeshadow. Been waiting to use my MAC gift card from Christmas! Also want to see the Bao Bao jewel eye shadow palette that MAC just released.

I would love to see reviews of thees and am so very happy they are permanent! The only MAC shadows I own are in the ones “belgreens” palette I just got. I really am interested to see how that purple performs. It would be amazing to finally have a well performing purple palette! Although , i am doing my best to put one together with MUFE shadows. It’s challenging when you are doing it through a computer screen and also those are not the cheapest shadows. So,taking more time than I would like. 🙂

I’ve been wanting to get a x4 palette for myself with Haux and Sketch in it for a while now – so I am more than thrilled to see this! Hopefully the reviews will be good ones, too. I don’t mind the eyeshadows being a tad smaller, since I never hit pan anyway!

Meghan Avatar

I’m loving all of these! I do have about 23 MAC shadows though. And for the ones I like, I probably own dupes for most of the colours! I’ll have to do a bit of my own research to compare with my current stash

Veronica Avatar

The Navy palette may be worth picking up for all those cool tones, but, ah, why call it a Navy palette when there’s no navy?

Dianne Avatar

So I’m assuming these aren’t full sized because it says it’s value is only $53? That’s really disappointing :(. Now, I’m wondering how bigs these actually are. Did they also decrease the amount in the Warm and Cool 15 eyeshadow palettes?

Trina Avatar

I bought the amber one. I was kinda surprised when it came in the mail today. Its tiny! I guess i should of paid closer attention to the description of the total ounces. Not sure if I’m gonna keep it was thinking about exchanging it for one of the x15 palettes. they are the same size as the 4 pan palettes except that it has 9 tiny pans.

Mo Avatar

The MAC website says: 0.8 g / 0.02 US oz. I hope that’s per shadow. A single full-sized MAC shadow is: 1.5 g / 0.05 US oz. So these must be small…

Rachel R. Avatar

I love the purple and burgundy palettes and would buy them if the quality is there. The price is great. I’m glad they’re permanent, so I can wait for reviews to come out.

Massiel Avatar

Those sound like a good deal for $40, which makes me think of ‘if only MAC Cosmetics came to Chile without inflated prices…’

Lisa Avatar

I think MAC is way overrated on so many things but one thing they usually hit on the head are shadows so I’m excited to see how these swatch! I’m not sure I’ll buy (as I have enough shadows to last a few lifetimes) but it doesn’t hurt to drool over nice products!

slick Avatar

I wonder if the non pre-exisiting shades/ LE shades in these palettes will become permanent full-size pans eventually. I love Mancatcher and hardly use it because I have no backup lol.

smeegal9 Avatar

Hi,
What do you think is the color next to the right of the eye in the advertisement photo?
I don’t own one that looks like that!

Kay Avatar

Just got the burgundy palette in the mail yesterday. It is TINY, but I travel a lot, so the size isn’t really a problem (love the Naked palettes, hate schlepping them around). Many times neutral browns look too “grey” on me, so I’m anticipating getting a lot of use out of this!

Tanja Avatar

Well I asked MAC to make a palette that had 6 or 9 shades in them and that I could fit in my Clearly MAC Rectangle, and what do you know! This is perfect!
