Coraaaaaaaal! 😀 It's by FAR my favorite lip color. I have Eccentric and yes, it's a lovely coral shade, and sooooo creamy! I wouldn't mind getting the other 4 either though.
That Estee Lauder formula is great!
I think in the side-by-side swatches you included Givenchy’s Rose Dressing instead of Maybelline’s Coral Burst. Although the Givenchy lipstick is beautiful too!

I actually look really sickly in coral. I really like the color itself so it is very disappointing that any coral lipstick that i tried so far looks aweful on me unless it has some brown tones.
But you did find a coral that works! Brown tones! Sometimes pink-corals work better, other times orange-corals, other times more muted ones!
I need to try Coral Burst. I have it in my stash and haven’t even worn it yet lol. I think I need that Urban Decay lipstick too

I love coral lipsticks. I wear them year-round because I feel they are so flattering to my complexion. I have the Maybelline one and I think it’s great! I have another coral shade from Rimmel that is nice. 🙂

I would add Charlotte Tilbury’s Coachella Coral to this list. It’s a gorgeous color and the formula feels amazing on the lips!

I love coral lip shades, super-flattering year-round. My all-time favourite is Too Faced’s La Creme in “Juicy Melons”, which is such a squicky name, but such a perfect shade. Last time I wore it, I ran into my sweet neighbour down the hall who complimented me on it and said it made me look so happy. Even my father, who proudly called me a couple years ago to tell me he found out that a dress and a skirt are not the same thing (oh, Dad), complimented me.

Any Guerlain Rouge G in the coral family that you can think of? I love Nars..Actually I love all of these.But,I have them most experience with Nars working the best for me. But, If I love the Rouge G’s on the way to me ,I may start building that collection. Man,these are all so pretty and different in their own way,lol..I wish listed all of them I think,lol! My favorite color to wear I think along with deeper coral/red. Sorry for commented twice!I had to look twice at the swatches! 🙂

yep! Your’re right! that is right up my ally! I love these lighter ones too though and I dont have any like it that I can think of. I do have Nars Brigette. it seems more beige/nude on me though. But yeah, Geneva for sure if that formula is a fo for me.Bright coral is red in summer to me!. I’m torn between Julie and Eccentric..they are pretty close in shade. I love the Nars formula. Never tried the Lauder one..Hmmm. Tough decision! My shabby Sephora doesnt carry lauder and apparently Julie has to come directly for the nars site.So, no trying on. Are they close to you in person? is it ridiculous to own both at some point? I love the YSL too. But,I have Caress pink. I cannot get that to stay on! I love it. but,seriously. I feel like it’s on to look at and it’s off,lol. I hate it because it’s so raved about and I feel like I’m doing something wrong with it! i put it ry it tomorrow it a liner maybe. It’s such a light color though that it will be hard to use a liner without altering the shade and I like the shade. So if you have suggestions ,please feel free to lmk on that and what you think on the Eccentric and Julie..too close? I’m old..help my eyes out,lol
You don’t really have to reply yo that firs part unless u want to make me feel better 🙂 lol. I side -by sided them . I think there is a good enough difference to warrant owning both.Actually, due to coral being my #1 love of lip color, I could justify owning all of these and just may. The Maybelline is pretty impressive. I checked those out at Ulta sat. Just about all were sold out!

I honestly don’t own any coral lipstick. I have a really hard time finding one that’s flattering on my olive skin tone. Sometimes they’re too bright and/or they clash with my skin tone. Or they’re too light and either don’t show up well on my fairly pigmented lips or they wash me out/look unnatural. Sigh. Ive stopped looking, but your post has inspired me to give it another try.
Reader Tugce mentioned difficulty getting corals to work but has found that browner corals have been better than your traditional ones – so maybe there is a good place to start!

as much as I love the nars audacious lipsticks.. the more I wear them the more I think the super light shades like Julie look terrible on me. would you agree that it has a white base? that makes it opaque, but also looks very strange on my darker browny lips. almost like my lips are floating off my face. and it makes me nc20 skintone look more sallow and darker! 🙁
I’m not sure if it has a white base, but some of the lighter shades are bright enough that it might feel like too much contrast.
