Maybe it’s just my monitor, but these actually look cool-toned! This could be interesting, I like Too Faced’s Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer. I doubt I’d use the darkest shade much, except maybe as eye shadow, but this palette is appealing to me a lot more than the other contouring palettes out there, because it actually looks cool-toned.

Sadly, the promo pic is misleading… From swatches I’ve looked up online, this runs very, very warm, and if you have the Chocolate Soleil bronzers, these are quite similar.

I was afraid of that! I saw this on Tooo Faced’s site and it looked like they just put their bronzers in the pans. So, I didn’t even bother to look for swatches. Ugh.. I had my hopes up for them for a minute. 🙁

Oh yikes, you’re right. I just saw some online swatches, and they run very warm, and the Light Cocoa “contour” is so light, it’s more like a face powder. Total skip for me.

I have this palette and I think the medium cocoa is a cooler tone and the deep cocoa is more of a warm tone and reminds me of the chocolate soleil bronzer…The Pop of Light is super glittery. The Light Cocoa is very light it is a cream color and I love it it is matte.

I hate that everything from TF now has the cocoa powder in it. When I used their chocolate bronzer years ago it broke me out like no other (and the breakouts continued in that area for way afterward) and I really don’t want a repeat of that. Plus the chocolate smell does get really overwhelming after a while.

The Light Cocoa in this picture is not accurate. It is a cream matte color. I am very pale and the medium cocoa is the perfect contour shade for me…which is lighter than the picture here as well. I hope they make it available separately

I saw this on their website and that lightest of the dark colors I thought was supposed to be a light matte color. But,here it looks like it may actually be useful for a contour shade for fair girls or subtle shading. It also appears more cool toned in your pics Christine. I really do like Too Faced in general and if this has that chocolate smell and glide like the bronzers it could be great. If it performs well, I’d be pretty happy.

The Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer works really well on me, so this is more tempting than ABH or Kat von D. The Medium Cocoa swatches look pretty close to it. The Dark Cocoa swatches I’ve seen look warmer than the regular Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. I’m thinking I could use everything but the Dark Cocoa. I’ll wait for more reviews before I decide to try it on myself.

This is actually a genuine question from a contouring n00b: how many people would actually find all of these shades useful in one palette? Obviously it’ll be great for some, but I can’t help but feel they should release a greater variety, a bit like those NARS ones that came out a while ago (one was called Olympia I think?).

That aside, it’s a very cute little set, but I suspect it’ll be too warm for mye anyway! 😉

I wanted to love this product with a vengeance. I purchased this the other day from Sephora and I’m kind of regretting it. I didn’t heed the advice of a few blogs stating this palette has contouring tones that were more orangie than the Too Faced cocoa palettes. I hate returning things but idk if lovingredients only 1/4th, the brush and the highlighting color, is worth keeping it. I think the Hourglass Ambient palettes are a better investment.

I’m so excited by this because the shades look fairly dark! I’ve been tempted by all the contour kits lately but they all have at least 1 or 2 shades that won’t show up on my skin tone (NC40-45) but these look pretty perfect. 🙂

Looks like another brand trying to capitalize on the contouring craze. I can’t say that this palette isn’t convenient for bronzer lovers though. The highlight color looks so pretty.

Joanne Avatar

The light cocoa looks like it would be the only possible useful shade for me out of this. I’m wayyyy too fair for any contour kits I have come across. Online swatches I have looked at make the shades appear warm toned too, which is a total bummer.
