I freaked out a little bit inside when I saw this post. These shades are my everything! I am a huge fan of Bite Beauty’s Musk, but that Estee Lauder shade is calling my name!

I tested the Nars Audacious yesterday. There were colors like this too.

Maybelline’s Untainted Spice is my favorite MLBB lipstick. I had high hopes for Nars Dolce Vita, but it’s too sheer for me.

Try the velvet matte lip pencil in dolce vita! It has that extra hit of pigment.

I love these kinds of shades. Untainted Spice and Irresistible are my favorites. Musk is a bit too light for my tastes, but nice.
Irresistible is really comfortable to wear, too!
Rose is a color that I love but that I find just completely washes out my features. I think it’s too warm, maybe. Doesn’t have enough beige or pink not to clash with my undertones.
What about colors like Untainted Spice?
It would need to be a little more vampy, I think. The brown would really clash with pinker undertones. I can sometimes get away with it in the summer months when I have a “tan,” but in the NW10 months, the only warm shades I can really get away with are reds.
I really like these colors. I’ve found that greyed pinks and roses look really natural on me.
They’re such versatile shades!
Apart from the Maybelline Untainted Spice I like the look of all of these, especially Musk. I can’t get Bite here, not unless I order from Sephora, which isn’t cheap. I was thinking of the Givenchy lipstick, or maybe the Estée Lauder one. Do you think that they would work with very pale skin or do you think they’d look a bit too dark/brown on me? Not that I mind dark really but I’m not a huge fan of anything too brown on me. It just doesn’t look right! I’m mostly a bright lipstick and blush person since my face needs colour so that I don’t look ill. 😛

I think both are quite pink rather than strongly brown, but Estee Lauder’s is the most pink-toned if you wanted to be safe!

These shades look too Brown for me in the tuve, but the Estee Lauder shade is beautiful swatched on the lips.

I purchased Untainted Spice (based upon viewing your swatch). I also wear Hot Tahati by MAC. I would recommend MAC’s Mahogany lip liner for both shades.

My favorite types of colors right now, so yaay!! I recently purchased Estee Lauder Irresistible and it is THE BEST rosy pink lipstick I have tried thus far, and that is saying a lot LOL! I’m so obsessed that I apply it when I’m at home doing absolutely nothing! The formula and color are a win/win 🙂

No Tom Ford Indian Rose, Spanish Rose, Pink Dusk( is that the name or nude blush.. ) There are far too many great ones, including your top 5 to list! It is a color readily available in all brands so it’s all rosy! Love your picks, though! My favorite is the Garance. 🙂
And Guipure! If rouge G, I prefer Gaetane. 🙂 ugh.. These are beautiful.. Audacious by Nars has a handful, alone!

Random factoid: did you know that Garance is the French name for madder, a very famous historical red pigment made from the roots of Rubia tinctorum L. and one of the oldest organic dyes/pigments recorded in use by mankind? 😀 <3
