Beyond Perfecting

The Clinique Beyond Perfecting foundation does provide a somewhat lightweight (I can feel it a little on my face), moisturizing (for my combination skin), natural, but perfected look. It's more medium coverage, with the potential of looking too cakey when building up. It stays put all day, but it's not comparable to the staying power of Estee Lauder Double Wear or MAC Waterproof Foundation. My issue with this foundation is that color doesn't stay true; it oxidizes a shade darker. Not only this, Sesame is a medium shade than oxidizes slightly darker. I'm light-medium (NC20-25) and Sesame is a little too dark for me even as a summer shade. I hate the doe foot applicator, extremely unhygienic.

I bought this foundation after one of my favourite youtuber tested it. She is extremely oily and so am I, and we both swear by it that it is SWEAT PROOF! I have an oily skin and I'm sweaty, especially during summer and the sweat comes through without breaking up the formula, and it's almost 100% transfer proof (of course it you rub it very vigorously, you will get the product of, but not on its own!) It's very full coverage, and has a very nice silky, powdery finish. I love touching my face after application :) It does not look cakey and wears all day like a dream. I apply it with the beauty blender. I found the big doe foot applicator a big strange in the beginning, but honestly I love it now. I don't have to make such a mess and pump the product on my hand first. I used half of the bottle in 3 months and it's very nice because you can see how much product left in the bottle. (the product does not stuck on the glass) I would definitely recommend it to anybody with oily skin or for the summer to have a sweat proof foundation that does not slide off your face.

Hi Ladies ! This is my first review ! I promise I will be honest about every product and not to post anything without actually trying ! so here we go ! I have recently started using clinique beyond perfecting foundation , and I must say I love it ! It is 2 in 1, meaning it has foundation plus concealer . It gives you full coverage and it goes on very smoothly. There are some who love a natural look and there are others like me who love a full coverage . So if you are like me and are looking for a foundation that has full coverage , and it is affordable , ( $27) I would give clinique beyond perfecting foundation a try . Now I did give this a four star instead of five because the foundation has a concealer applicator instead of a regular foundation pump or without one. Give this try , you wouldn't regret it . (P.S.
