Love the idea behind this gift. At first glance I thought $20 bucks for one lipstick and four little chocolates seemed overpriced but given the former already has a US$16.00 price tag paying just a bit more for a beautiful packaging and some bites of fancy deliciousness feels worthy.

The lipstick is a gorgeous color and is a creamy matte stain. The price of $16 is very reasonable and the size of the tube is thicker than most. I have a few shades and love each one. Fig and Mulberry are my favorites.

Oh my, chocolates and red lipstick! Life doesn’t get any better than this. Except wouldn’t it be awesome if the lipstick was chocolate flavored, too? yummy…..that lippie would be gone in no time 🙂

Something about it is not jelling with me. Maybe if they were two different boxes? Cute concept, but somehow odd to me; and I’m usually a sucker for gimmicky stuff like this. I’d rather skip the chocolate and get extra gloss 😉

At first this seemed way too expensive but then I realized the lip product is $16 and the pralines are worth $12.50 so $20 is actually a good deal. So a good gift, but not something I’d buy myself. Also having the makeup and food so close (and selling food at sephora) is a bit weird.

After seeing the in-store damage after Sephora’s last 20% event (boxed product being opened and swatched, sample displays smashed and looking absolutely nasty) the thought of Sephora selling something edible puts a nasty taste in my mouth. I’m taking a pass on it too.

Maybe i’m in the minority, but I love this idea!! Quality chocolate alongside a sensual, longwearing shade of lipstick sounds so pampering and decadent. I have to agree though that sephora selling food does seem a bit strange. I might have some concerns about freshness. I think this would have been even nicer alongside a more luxuriously packaged lipstick as sephora brand doesn’t exactly strike me as particularly special…maybe A for idea and a B for execution?

I hope the entire package comes sealed in plastic because chocolate can pick up the fragrance/scent of anything that its around affecting the taste of the chocolate.

I like the idea, probably wouldn’t buy it for myself but would love to receive as a gift. Unfortunately I don’t think its something my valentine would ever think of/discover, he’s only been in a Sephora once, with me…and I think it was a bit overwhelming for him 🙂

The stores don’t seem to have this product, and online rep had no clue as to what I was speaking about. Is this an old promo or is no available in all stores and online? Tha know you.

Bought 3 of these at my local Sephora today (one for myself and two to gift to my best friends). The chocolates are yummy and so is the lip color. I actually called my store first to ask if these were in stock. They weren’t even out on display yet, so mine were pulled from the back and held for me. It did feel a little weird purchasing something edible from Sephora but I felt pretty confident that my items were sanitary. My advice to anyone interested in purchasing this set is to call your local store to confirm they have them and then have it held. It’s worth the price in my opinon 🙂
