ColourPop Bae Super Shock Shadow
ColourPop Bae Super Shock Shadow

ColourPop Halo Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “golden champagne dusted with soft gold glitter [with a satin finish].” It’s a light-medium, yellowed beige with gold glitter over a satin finish. It had semi-opaque color coverage, but it was a shade that needed two layers for full opacity. On me, it wore well for nine and a half hours without creasing or fading, but there was a smidgen of fall out.
It is part of the Not a Box of Chocolates set. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

ColourPop Game Face Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “penny copper [with a metallic finish].” It’s a deepened copper bronze with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had good pigmentation that went on smoothly and evenly, while remaining easy to blend. It wore well for ten hours. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

ColourPop Drift Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “true cranberry [with a pearlized finish].” It’s a medium-dark, berry-red with subtle warmer undertones and a light sparkle over a more pearly finish. It had mostly opaque pigmentation that was easy to use and blend out on the skin while retaining its intensity. I didn’t have any fading or creasing over a ten-hour period. It is part of the Not a Box of Chocolates set. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

ColourPop Bae Super Shock Shadow ($5.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “rich eggplant purple with an emerald and turquoise, glittery duo chrome [with a metallic finish].” It is a dark, plummy purple with warm undertones and bluish-teal sparkle and shimmer. The color payoff was intense, while the consistency was still smooth, blendable, and easy to use. This shade didn’t crease or fade over ten hours. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Ya know, I bought some of these and they are lovely, but I cannot figure out what brush(es) to use. People keep telling me to use my fingers yet my fat fingers aren’t nearly as precise as a brush! What have you been using?

I find stiffer, flat synthetic brushes work great.

For the really tough ones, I use a spongetip applicator to tap the color onto my eyes. Then I wait a few seconds, then blend it out with a brush.

I hope that helps.

Wow. These would be impressive even without considering the price point. Drift and especially Bae are catching my eye. I might have to pick a few of these up.

wow, i love the look you put together! I was thinking halo is too yellow to be an inner corner highlight, but I was so wrong! I absolutely love how game face looks on the eye.

Bae is one of the shades I picked up last month when you posted swatches and I am in love with it! Glad you liked it too! The look you did with these is so pretty – I’ll have to try to recreate it myself.

My absolute favorite ColourPop eyeshadow achieved a “Temptalia Recommends”?
I couldn’t be happier.
One that deserve an acrostic:

B – Beautiful
A – Awesome
E – Extraordinary

I love these so much, bae is amazing, I’m so sad I can’t get them in the UK. It’s been a long time since I was so heavily tempted by such as reasonably priced eyeshadow!

I’m starting to think my BAE shadow might be defected because for me it’s the least pigmented even though it’s still really creamy and has soft texture. Even if I swatch it a couple times, it doesn’t show up anywhere NEAR to your swatch. It still stains and is cool but pigmentation is the worst out of all the colourpops I own.

I have Drift and Halo and I love them! My only problem is I don’t have a ton of opportunities to wear such sparkly shadows so they sit untouched a lot 🙁 I would love to see reviews of Colour Pop’s new matte shades, I’m curious how they are compared to their original shades.

GORGEOUS. first word that came to my mind when I saw this look and now..thats the only word lol. It really is just so….gorgeous. Game face looks ridiculously beautiful in that look. I wavered and got desert and amaze which I also love. I thought Game face was too simlar to Buxoms golden retriever bt Ill have to get this one too ..along with some of their new mattes!

Wowzers!!! I absolutely love, want and definitely need BAE! That shade is totally out of this world gorgeousness. Love the look you created with these, too.
