How do you organize your makeup brushes?

How do you organize your makeup brushes? Share!

I use tall glasses filled with glass beads, and then I keep brushes by type (crease brushes vs. blending brushes) in each.

For face and eye brushes, I have them sorted in clear, plastic cups, but I like the glass beads idea and will add those. My blush and contour brushes are in a drawer, along with my blushes/contours/highlighters/bronzers

I keep them in two clear, round acrylic containers that I got from the Container Store. One has face brushes and the other has eye brushes. They are meant to be for the kitchen, but they have a lid, so I use them for my brushes. I don’t wear makeup everyday and I don’t like have my brushes out in the open to collect dust particles. I’m just weird like that and super careful about what goes on my face. #Weirdo lol

I use glasses vases with tiny clear beads found at Michael’s, used for flower arrangements. Right now they are separated by “face” and “eye” but I need to break them down a little more.

I keep the ones in my rolled up bag separate, but its rather inconvenient.

I keep my favourites on my basin. My dad got a rectangle block of wood, bored different sized holes in it and stained it for me so they stand upright. Right at my fingertips.

But I love the jar with the beads idea!

Mine are in utensil trays in my bathroom drawers separated by type.I like your idea better. Some of the brushes are too pretty to be hidden.

i store my personal makeup brushes inside my brush roll, they’re inside most used/everyday makeup drawer. They’re usually just thrown in there or lost. Lol I try to keep them all organized but with my 14 month old who loves makeup as much as I do, I find brushes all over the house, in her toy chest, in the most random areas.. I told everyone I was not going to allow my kids in my makeup at all, off limits but after 2 boys who listened to my rules, here came the girl who won’t follow..

I have a spinning desk caddy (like people use for pens, pencils, scissors, paperclips, etc.) for larger brushes and some tools. I have matching pen cups and a couple cute Sonia Kashuk cups for smaller brushes and my eyeshadow brushes.

I used to have them all in magnetic cups that hung off a magnetic board by my mirror. But I realized I really only use maybe 15 brushed regularly and I was tired of having everything out in the open. So now I have just the ones I use in a cup I store in the cabinet next to my sink.

Since I don’t have a vanity, I keep all my makeup brushes in my closet. And I have a lot of brushes 😉 So my solution was to get a plastic 3-drawer container from target to store them in. One drawer has all my eye brushes, one has all my foundation/concealer brushes, and the last drawer has all my powder/bronzer/blush brushes. I also have a container to keep my dirty brushes in. This way I don’t get my clean brushes mixed up.
