Charlotte Tilbury Filmstars on the Go Collection for December 2014
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstars on the Go Collection
My Filmstars On The Go are an Easy Look in a Palette for Filmstar glamour in a flash. I have created a two-minute, two-step pocket-palette for a full eye-cheek-&-lip look on the go. The two gorgeous, fresh, youthful creams are sheer, buildable and easy-to-handle in a dash.
The lustrous Lip-to-Cheek Cream Polish contains my magic ingredient BerryFlux Vita that increases the dermal and epidermal Hyaluronic Acid that drenches the skin with moisture, and a special Microfine pigment technology makes sure your lips colour stays gorgeous all day. My mesmerising metallic eye shadow glides on beautifully, as it’s the perfect balance of waxes and oils, including anti-aging Apricot Seed Oil.
Filmstars on the Go ($55.00) (New)
- All About Eve A silvery mink and dusky, cool pink

- Rebel Without A Cause A gold leaf sparkle with a fiery hot pink cheek and lip color
- Some Like It Hot A sizzling combination of gilded green-brown eye shadow and a punchy peach pout

I really like the look of this collection, it’s good to see some fresh ideas on the market, and the products look very high quality. I love Breakfast at Tiffany’s, it looks beautiful. I actually think that Charlotte Tilbury is doing a launch party for this collection in my home town and she’s going to be there in person, talking through the idea behind her products and giving out hints and tips. I have classes on at that time, but I think that I might skip them… 😉
Oooooh – a magic ingredient! Yeah, I am really falling for THAT line! I like the “silvery mink” and “gilded green-brown” shadows but the lip/cheek product in both of those don’t appeal to me – I’d like this more if you could customize and choose which eye and cheek shade you were getting.
The colors look really pretty but I am afraid the shadow fallout will get to the cheek stain pan and be messy. The Spy Who Loved Me is my favorite though.
Actually they’re both cream products, so I don’t imagine you should have to worry about fall out! 🙂
both products are cream…
Hmm. Not too sure about the price point, even for high end. Those look tiny!
Love the concept! So hard to buy blind as it’s so new a brand here. Reviews coming?
First and Last colour choices attract me the most. I wonder how ‘greasy’ these would be and my interest in the product would seriously dissipate if they were at all creasy. I rarely trust cream products, even though I love and wear a lot of them, unless they have been tested and reviewed.
I’m hoping there is some sort of gel (dimethicone) ingredient because it it just a wax cream it not going to last on the eyes. Rebel Without A Cause would make a good complexion palette I would bet.
I love the names! Even if it’s a bit small, the idea behind it is creative.
Wait. So she’s charging $50+ for a cream blush and one eyeshadow? WHAT?
Uh, I dunno about this, seems like it can be kind of unsanitary, especially if you’re using your fingers to swipe the colors onto your lips and cheeks, then swipe the shadow onto your eyes. Even if you use separate brushes, I think some of that lip/cheek cream will eventually migrate over to the eyeshadow and contaminate it….
Goodness, those models’ makeup is so damn glam and beautifully sultry! LOVE IT! Unfortunately, I don’t really care for “convertible” products, so I will be skipping these.
I actually really like this concept. I wish I knew which palettes the models were wearing. they both look amazing! I’m thinking Breakfast at Tiffany ‘ s would be my fave! I hope you are able to review a few!
Aren’t these already available on the Charlotte Tilbury website?? I think you made an oopsy with your release date! 🙂
That’s what the press release stated 🙂 I’m not sure if the availability on her website is limited or not.
Oh, what a beautiful promo — and such lovely-looking duos! It’s great to see a little diversity in Charlotte’s models.
(Okay, more than a little great. On my monitor, she looks olive/cool, and with no areas of her face “whited out,” which is pretty damn incredible. I feel like 90% of the time when we’re shown models of different ethnicities, they always have one [optional] very yellow “Asian girl” and one consistently red/warm “(b)lack girl,” so this olive-inclusive ad makes me very happy!)
I bought 2 of them a week ago, All About Eve and Some Like It Hot. The packaging is beautiful. The eyeshadow creams on those both, are gorgeous. Unfortunately, bad part, only 2 g of product, not alot for the price. I haven’t tried them out yet, since I have been using TF Platinum on my lids, and her Colour Chameleon’s that I love, since it gets me out of the house fast in the morning.
As far as how I will use them, I really dislike putting my fingers into my eyeshadows. So I might use a small spatula and soflty take some off the top, that’s what I do with TF’s cream shadows and I use the MAC 242 brush that Christine recommended, and yay, I actually had one in my collection (never used it until now) ..oops
I think though, looking at the consitency, use an eye primer, because it might crease.
How is the 242 working out for you, Cristy?
OMG, thank you so much for recommending it! It works perfectly … I scoop a little of the cream shadow out with a small spatula and put it on a small plastic tray and pick up the product with the 242 … the brush places it on lightly and you can build it up, and I love blending it into the crease and above…. so yea, thank you! I didn’t have to go buy a brush, actually had it already … 🙂
No prob! Even better that you had it already 🙂
Whoa, if that’s true, the price point here is a little shocking. The CT eye quads are $52 for 5g of product. The lipsticks give you 3.5g of product for $32. Of course, It makes sense that there is some variation since this is a different formula, but price-per-oz. that is way more expensive.
I think part of it, is the packaging. Its the same type of packaging as the Film Star Bronze & Glow. But yes, its overpriced. I wish she would have chosen to add more product because almost 1/3 of the pan is just the metal with her name embossed on it. Do I regret buying it? … not really. I stick to a fixed beauty budget on what I buy every month and as long as I stay within it, I’m ok.
Christine, could you please review the Dolce Vita palette? I don’t have any Charlotte Tilbury counters near me and your swatches always save the day! 🙂
I would so end up trying to do my makeup while driving with this. Dangerous!
At £42 each, forget it
i’d have to see them swatched 🙁
I have this after buying it off of her website during early summer. I have the one, Some like it hot, and when I went to use it could not get hardly any pigment to show after trying the shadow.
The pigment just wasn’t there and I kept trying and trying to load it on to get it to show. It was very unimpressive. I did not try the blush. It is very small, I believe, 1 gram each, so it won’t last long trying and trying to get a little color to show up.
It looks gorgeous but I have to say pass on this, unfortunately.
Wow, and I thought the Naked palettes were expensive! 😀 They look pretty though.
I really like the look of these. Especially the first one. That one looks perfect! I hope you’ll swatch and review them for us
They look incredibly gorgeous, but too spendy. Plus, creams are hit and miss (mostly miss) for me. They tend to slide right off my eyes, even with primer.
I love the Rebel without a cause greeny colour – but I would never wear the pinkish lipstick. Now if they had paired it with a red…..
So gorgeous!
All About Eve and Breakfast At Tiffany’s are definitely the most easy to wear, slap on and go colors and they’re all gorgeous…but I’m most interested in the last two – Some Like It Hot and The Spy Who Loved Me. They pack the most punch, for sure! I would LOVE to try them to see if they’re worth the hefty price tag! CT sure makes some dazzlingly lovely little things.
