Is Dark Purple Taupe a misnomer? Looks like mid tone malt brown to me!
Well, Sephora gave them names, not Make Up For Ever as far as I know.

Red Brown is too gorgeous. Dark Purple Taupe and Chalk are nice and look very versatile. I’m not a fan of mustard yellow in general, but I’m very impressed with the pigmentation on that one.
Dark Purple Taupe is exactly what I’ve been looking for.

Forgive me, dear Christine, if I am repetitive, but I cannot fail to thank your magnificent job !!!!!
Based on the swatches, I think that it’s possible to identify some issues in some of these shades (especially M126 Chalk, M510 Vanilla and M530 Eggshell).
M540 Gray Beige, M546 Dark Purple Taupe and M558 Dark Taupe are nice, but as I’m a sucker for (neutral) mattes, I am well-stocked with my Inglot, Mac and Makeup Geek ones.
M240 Prussian Blue is my absolute favorite, but it doesn’t look so great.
M408 Mustard is another favorite. Such a beautiful yellow! It would be great to blend lightly the edge of a brown shadow in the crease. It is already on my buying list!
Oh my gosh. How are we expected to pick only a couple from this entire collection!? MUFE did an amazing job with these shadows and I can’t wait to add more from the upcoming Sephora sale!

Random tangentially-related art/science fact! Did you know that genuine Prussian Blue pigment in oil paint undergoes reversible photofading? If you leave something painted with it out in the light, it will fade towards yellowish grey…but if you put that painting in the dark before too long, the colour will restore itself to blue! 🙂
Do you know of a good dupe for 608 Red Brown? To me, it looks a bit like MAC Brown Script or MUG Cocoa Bear, but I wanted to check to be sure! Thanks so much! 🙂
