I’m just going to create my own, and I’m going to say the entire Tom Ford Private Blend collection in mini decanters. Sooooo cute!

Anything from chanel would be lovely. I know this from personal experience, as I was gifted a chanel lipstick in rouge noir for my birthday a couple months back. Just feels so weighty, and I love the packaging, very unique.

I’m totally obsessed with burgundy right now, so I’ll also invent my own and say I’d love to get a set with a burgundy lipstick (NARS Audacious in Charlottle), eyeshadow palette (eyeing Smashbox Cherry Smoke and Buxom Color Choreography in Tango), nail polish, and maybe a mono shadow of a truer-red burgundy since I can’t find a palette that appeals to me with burgundies that aren’t so brown based! (PS if any lovely ladies can suggest anything that would be awesome!)

I’ve been obsessed with burgundy eyeshadows lately! Surely we are kindred spirits! LOL

You may want to check out Crimson Tryst, Cranberry, and Plum Dressing by MAC. Also, and this one really has my interest peaked, Inglot #450. I don’t own any of these yet, but that will check in the near future! Christine has done swatches of all of these colors. Good luck!

Hm…let’s imagine that all things are possible and we’re operating in a magical world:

My perfect birthday gift would be a trip to the US with spending money and an empty suitcase, LOL! 😉

In a more realistic sense: any of the lovely beauty related gifts that my Wizard has gotten me 🙂 Usually nail polishes that he likes/thinks I would like, which have typically included Chanel, because I’m a very lucky rogue indeed…

Everything in Charlotte Tilbury’s *complete* makeup and skin care line (including the Beach Sticks and Filmstar On The Go palettes that aren’t sold here yet!) and all of Wayne Goss’ brushes! I’m pretty easy, lol!! 😀

Two options that are completely out of my price range: the Charlotte Tilbury palette in The Sophisticate and the Bond No. 9 Signature Perfume. My palette wish may eventually be attainable, but that fragrance will have to wait until I’m out of college!

Oh god! I just got thoseTom Ford Private Blend collection in mini decanters! (cost a fortune though, but…) So cute and I love all of them so much!!
Okay back to the topic, the thing that would surprise me the most for birthday would be Tom Ford limited edition quad in Enchanted…I missed out on that and when I tried this year’s Nude Dip, All I want is more of that eyeshadow formula!! Fantastic!! But it’s so hard to find and the price has gone rediculous on eBay…I just can’t justify getting it for that kind of price. Sigh…

I would love to try anything from Tom Ford, Clé de Peau (both are so hard to get a hold of online in Canada & I’m no where near a counter! Anyone know a good site?), Kevin Aucoin, By Terry.

But right now I’m obsessed with anything Charlotte Tilbury, so anything from her line would be an excellent birthday gift, including the Magic Cream! I’m waiting for the ‘Sophisticate’ set from Nordstrom, and the Glamour Muse & Dolce Vita palettes now! #feelingspendy

Mmm…. I would love a basket of full size and sample size make up products (I love mini products) of brands I haven´t been able to get my hands on, like Ilamasqua, Buxom, Tarte, Clé de Peau, Tom Ford, Burberry, Armani and Suqqu and/or Hakuhodo brushes! Oh, and to make it even more fabulous, I’d love it if there were also some Ready Eyeshadows in there – for some wicked reason, these are not available at my local Sephora!

For me it is easy. Anything from MAC makes me very happy.
My kids and hubby know that very well.
So kids buy make up and my hubby most of the
Times a beautiful handbag from my other fav brand
Guess

Suqqu cheek brush. Cartier baiser vole perfume.

Unfortunately it will never happen because my family has some kind of block against getting me beauty products. I think they think I have too much. Instead sometimes my sister gets me cheap, enormous eyeshadow palettes that she gets for free through work or from a friend in the industry and gives them to me as a side gift, and then says “see, now you have all the colors and don’t need any more.” Which of course stops me from buying nothing.

As long as I’m dreaming, a lifetime supply of Guerlain products. 🙂 But if I could only choose one thing, I’d pick a Guerlain fragrance that the gift giver thought would suit me.

Genevieve Avatar

I think the Jo Malone Christmas Advent calendar would be lovely…
I would also like the Charlotte Tilbury The Rebel set…
Dior’s Jardin eyeshadow palette and perhaps their holiday Golden Shock as well.
Of course a trip to the US to visit Nordstrom, Sephora with the empty suitcase (as suggested below) and lots of cash would never be turned down either.

Toni Avatar

A vanity and stool for my boom boom room, two Jo Malone scents (to layer) and gift card(s) of at least a couple hundred dollars to Ulta and/or Sephora so I can buy eyeshadow palettes and lippies!

My birthday is on the 17th, and I’m trying to talk my hubby and sons into painting my makeup room so I can decorate it. I’ve got a great roll top desk I got cheap, too. I’m going to repaint the furniture in bright colors and put all my Alice in Wonderland items and other whimsical stuff in for decor. But my back was injured a little more than a year ago in a car accident, so I really need help painting the walls. We’ll see…

Such an appropriate post! (My birthday is coming up in two weeks. True story.) Either a SK-II ultimate revival cream or Zoeva rose gold brush set plus some Amore Pacific skin care.

Go big or go home, right?!

My dream beauty birthday gift would be an $2000 gift certificate to Sephora. Since I buy makeup there all the time, I would use it to stock up on my Diorshow Mascara and eyelash base,Lancôme Artliner Eyeliner, MUFE Artist Rouge Matte Lipstick in M3 and Matte Eyeshadow in Black, Nars Eyeshadow base and Pure Matte Lipstick in Amsterdam. I would be in heaven with that $2000 gift certificate. Another beauty gift I would like to receive is fragrance. Some of my favorite fragrances are by Dior but not everyone carries them. They are Miss Dior L’Original and La Collection Privee New Look 1947 which is only available at Saks Fifth Avenue. They are very classic, ladylike, and never goes out style. They are worth the investment.

I also love and wear all the time Les Creations du Monsieur Dior Forever and Ever, the 2009 edition. I love the intense rose scent and wear it all year round. It’s only available overseas. I happen to order my bottles from Ebay as well as Beauty Encounter.com at a cheaper price. The 3.4 oz bottle sells for $100, but I have seen that same fragrance retailed b/w $75-$90 on Ebay. I would love to have a unlimited supply of Forever and Ever fragrance for my stash.
