The Scarlet Season: Sally Hansen Garnet Lipstick
The Scarlet Season: Sally Hansen Garnet Lipstick
Sally Hansen Natural Beauty Garnet Lipstick ($4.99) is a glossy, bright raspberry red — it’s not even what I’d really think of when I think raspberry, because it seems so much redder, but it’s clear that there are some strong signs of pinkness to this shade. Sally Hansen’s Color Comfort Lip Color is one of my favorite drugstore lipstick brands to turn to; they’re moisturizing, beautiful, and easy to apply. The color is rich and lasts a good four hours on me.
What about you? Would you wear this red?
The Scarlet Season is a series of posts showcasing and featuring my favorite shades of red lips–from glosses to lipsticks that runs through December 2009. You can sure expect to see a lot of red this holiday season!

Oh.. that is actually really pretty and the formula looks amazing on you! I’ve never tried these before but I’ll definitely keep a lookout for them – I’m always looking for moisturizing, easy-wearing lipsticks!
Wow, it’s beautiful! I have a question for you. Do you know of another shade of the Sally Hansen lipstick that is a truer red than this?
Hey Sam,
I haven’t seen the majority of the line, so I’m not sure 🙁
This is gorgeous! Just my kind of red.
wow that is a really lovely shade and the price is great as well 🙂
That is a pretty shade and but I don’t think I have ever seen anything other than nail polishes at my drug store from Sally Hansen. I will keep an eye out for this.
Pretty! I too haven’t tried –– or really ever paid attention to! –– Sally Hansen lipsticks. Maybe I’ll check them out sometime!
this shade really suits you!! what did you think of it?
btw…have you done a scralet season post on ‘lady danger’? does it count as a scarlet?
It’s nice! I have a few shades in the same family, but it’s still a nice shade.
I’m all set on colors for the remainder of The Scarlet Season, but I did consider Lady Danger a little too orange to be in the feature!
WOW
I NEED TO CHECK THIS BRAND
