First, I’ll share mine!
I bought a bunch of OPI polishes since so many of you requested them, but I haven’t yet received them, BOO!

This week I bought matte nailpolish from zoya and KO. I recieved the zoya and like it, i have not reiceved the KO yet.
I’ve been so depressed the past six weeks, i’ve hauled like crazy!
From MAC-Spice it up lipstick, Gentle and Gleeful mineralize blushes, Hue lipstick, Well Dressed Blush, Plum Royale lipliner, Brave Red lipstick, and large palette pans.
From elsewhere-Diorshow mascara, Too Faced Smurf You liquid eyeliner, UD book of shadows 2, UD liquid liner in Minx, i think there’s a few others, but i dont remember.
And this weekend I’ll probably buy Party Line lipstick, and another palette or two from MAC.
My checkbook hates me.
I’m the same way when I’m depressed! I buy like crazy.
Its really kinda weird! My boyfriend teases me about it a bit, but yeah. Its not so much buying that satisfies me, its having something new, and brainstorming new looks and techniques. Like, if i’m constantly “improving” on something, how bad can things really be? Its like I hope that by appreciating my makeup art, or the aspects of my personality and physicality that it brings out, I hope to somehow convince myself I have that much power in other areas.
Oh. And I did haul. Party line lipstick(i can’t wait to do a look adn post it on my blog, yay!) and two palettes. I spent yesterday depotting my facial products and reorganizing my eyeshadows into the huge palettes.
I bought Urban Decay’s Box of Potions set on the Sephora website with my 20 dollar VIB gift card. I also got NARS Silent Night eye shadow for $9! What a bargain!
I love it when I happen to visit Temptalia and a new post comes up when I hit home! 🙂
Let’s see… Busy haul month this month. I bought a lot from E.L.F. because I wanted to try it out. I got a blue n/p, a sheer pink n/p with glitters, a pink blush, an eyelash curler and a brown eye pencil (and a sharpener but that one was for free). Other than that I bought UD 24/7 Super Stash and I absolutely love it. I love it so much I’m thinking about taking it out for pasta and brownies after. I’m really eager to try it out (Temptalia Gallery, I’m looking at you for help!). I also won a couple of things in a beauty blog contest! I received a red l/p, a silver glitter e/l, a black pencil e/l, a clear l/g + a coral l/g with golden glitters and 2 lip balms. I was so happy I won something, that hardly ever happens.
But wait! There’s more! I just ordered the original Sleek palette I’ve heard so many raves about. It has some pretty shimmery colors. Can’t wait.
Today I went out with my dad and he bought me my present for December 6th, which is when we celebrate “Sinterklaas”. It’s sort of like a wannabe holiday for kids here. Sinterklaas is an old and gentle man with a white horse and “Black Petes” (actually they origin from slaves, but that’s not what we tell the kids of course ;)) who rides the rooftops and puts presents down our chimney if we’ve been good. Did you know that “Santa Claus” was (presumably) based on “Sinterklaas”? (it is in fact a literal translation) I’ve read somewhere that some American states celebrate Saint Nicholas’ Day too. Anyway, my dad got me the Christmas edition mini body butters! There are three: vanilla and nutmeg, apricot and cranberries. We also got a fullsize one for free (raspberries, hmmm)! Hurray! I smell like a fruit salad by now, LOL.
ALSO! I got a MAC invite today for an exclusive clothing line from a designer who has partnered with MAC. Both MAC and the designer are going to introduce their new collections: the Kiss Collection (I was wondering if you might have heard something about it? Could be a very LE just for Belgium since the designer is from Antwerp herself). I can’t wait. I think I might score a red lipstick. I know I won’t be lacking inspiration, riiight? 😉
Other than that, I’m thinking about picking up Frisky Business from Mischief Makers. I wasn’t going too at first, but damn… it’s so pretty!

It was really fun to win! I don’t know if you the brands: Essence, Gosh, French Vanilla Kiss and Dig ’em (lip balms), Manhattan. That was it I believe. Can you believe these are my very first lipglosses?
Is it alright if I forward the invitation to you (it’s in English)? I don’t think this designer is known (it’s her first collection) but maybe the designer’s different for each country? I don’t know but I’m really excited! It’s a Pro Store, by the way.
Sinterklaas/Saint Nicholas/Santa Claus is actually for kids, but I’ll take any excuse to receive a beauty item, LOL. My dad’s so precious for buying me those! It’s a little confusing (Sinterklaas vs. Santa Claus?) but we celebrate Christmas too, just so you know 🙂

What MAC foundation did you get?
I got lots of new toys 🙂 I ordered the Philosophy Best of Sephora Set (such a good deal for full-sized stuff!), a foundation and some concealer from Everyday Minerals, and I decided to try some E.L.F stuff – a lipstick called Natural Nymph, and a set of 12 brushes for $12 (they have a 50% off $15 or less coupon, so I got it for $6 plus s&h). E.L.F stuff is so cheap I almost can’t believe it, I can’t wait to try it! If it turns out not so good I won’t feel so guilty…
I’ve been hauling a bunch of stuff for the holidays! I used the UD 30% FF sale to get one of the eyeliner sets (the one with Mildew–Hi-Fi maybe?) for a friend for Christmas. I also got the David Pocket Rocket for another friend and one for myself. Such a pretty color–too bad the smell is awful! I’m hoping it will kind of “air out” now that’s it open (finger crossed because I love the gloss!). I also go the duo with Covet 24/7 liner and matching glitter liner. It was on clearance for $14, plus the 30% off! Covet 24/7 liner was on my Christmas list, and I could resist getting both for less than the eyeliner alone.
I also purchased 5 China Glaze NPs: Ruby Pumps, Emerald Sparkle, Electric Lilac (Christine, this polish is GORGEOUS!), Strawberry Fields, and Tree Hugger (a gift for a friend). All of the polishes are amazing. I’m wearing Ruby Pumps and Emerald Sparkle to a party tomorrow.
I’m now trying to decide what to use my Sephora gift card for. I’m probably going to try one of Givenchy’s lipsticks. I received a sample last year, and I’ve had one on my list since then.
I attempted to make cookies today, but they didn’t turn out :(. It’s hard to use an oven you aren’t familiar with. I have an easy fudge recipe I’m going to make instead (they were supposed to be gifts).

Christine where did u get ur opi polishes 8ty8 beauty is cheaper but they always have out of stock on many polishes and trans design is 50 cents more, just asking. I been buying polishes like crazy lately, I guess im making up for the past 27.5 yrs(im 28 if ur wondering)..I just started wearing polish.. Oh I got something from ruelala and I got so much from sephora and they just sent me a 20 vip certificate off any purchase for vip insider.
I buy from 8ty8 usually, but I bought via transdesign because 8ty8 were out of stock on one shade I wanted.

I bought La Femme blushes. Makeupmania has 10% off with free shipping so I had to buy some blushes and of course Ben Nye Translucent powder and Graftobian f/d.
I have spent so much on make up in the past months, I’ve been trying not to buy too much this week, but I didn’t do too well, lol. I’ve just received my Mac order, got my first ever 15 palette, since I’ve managed to work out how to depot eyeshadows (only lost a small piece out of my first try, lol), and bought a Vex pro-refill and the new 3 glosses from Baroque Boudoir. I also just received my Guerlain order (took nearly 2 weeks to arrive – not happy about that!) with the new Meteorites, glosses and lipsticks (I love Gems!!!). I’ve also bought a few bits and bobs from eBay incl. another Guerlain G lipstick (in Giovanna). Still waiting for my Meteorites Voyage powder (can’t be long now). Post has been annoyingly slow from the States. 🙁
My young son (aged 3.5 yrs) has been ill with flu all week, so I’ve had him home with me, so didn’t get around to doing much and I’m dog tired from all the night wakings. Hoping for a better night tonight now he’s better (finger’s crossed).

I have been a good little girl this week and purchased absolutely nothing – certainly not due to my strong will, though, rather entirely because of being broke and being too busy with finals.
Tomorrow I am headed to Sephora to use my $15 coupon that I received in my email today. Again, I’m going to be well-behaved and spend it only on Christmas presents: Marc Jacobs Lola ring for little sister, UD Super Stash for other little sister, and that Dior Swarovski necklace for my mom. I love Christmas shopping!
I feel a big mother of a MAC haul coming soon. My bronzer is nearly done (and I think I’m ready to try something new…suggestions, anyone, for an extremely fair NW20?). I’m also out of wipes and need a new mascara and eye primer. I hate spending money on the “necessities” instead of the fun stuff!
This weekend I’m going to be busy studying for two finals. On Sunday I’m taking a break to attend and volunteer at a Take Back the Night walk here in Toronto to commemorate the women who were killed in the Ecole Polytechnique killings in Montreal. It’s always moving to get such a large group of women together to talk about violence against women, so I’m really looking forward to that.

I bought 6 China Glaze polishes from Sally Beauty Supply: Ruby Pumps, Emerald Sparkle, Atlantis, Metallic Muse, Twenty-Four K, and Tree Hugger. They were 2 for $10 and I got an additional 20% off. I received a Sephora order with Benefit Lust Dusters trios (2 different ones from the sale page online), Illamasqua pure pigment Conquer, OPI/Sephora Mermaid to Order nail polish and the super cute Kat Von D reusable tote. I also received in the mail a Pretty Pink Sample Bag with three eyeshadows from Glamour Doll Eyes. The tote and Illamasqua + 2 of the polishes are for me. The rest are gifts for St. Nick’s Day (Dec. 6) for my niece and my godchild. They are both in college and going thru finals so a really great St. Nick surprise was in order. I’m in the southern US and we’ve always celebrated St. Nick’s Day too. We usually only exchange ornaments, booze, or candy (adults) or toys (the kids). But, I thought the girls would like MU better. I just got a Sephora coupon for $15, so I’m going to get NARS Orgasm & my birthday lip gloss set. On Tuesday I went to H&M where they had some returns from the Jimmy Choo launch. So I got leather pants, a cross body leather purse and an asymmetrical gray suede dress. I was so happy they had it all and it fit just right 🙂 Last weekend I went to MAC to get Baroque Boudoir. I got the compact, Prive, Treasured, Preciousness, and Lap of Luxury. Only 21 days until Christmas and I need to get a tree!!! 😛
I went to the outlets last weekend and mostly got gifts for people, but I did haul some stuff at the CCO – two MAC shadows (Go and Henna – old LEs, I think) and Bobbi Brown Black Mauve Shimmer eyeliner. I also got the L’Occitane hand cream trio at Nordstrom earlier this week because I was having NO luck finishing my gift shopping and it just looked good. I’m in love with the frangipani one.

Aveeno Skin Brightening Daily Scrub (I’ve been needing an exfoliant to get rid of this dry, flakey skin. We’ll see how this goes, but any recommendations are welcome)

I started by Christmas shopping this past week… This year my friends are getting mini manicure packs 🙂
– China Glaze polishes: Ruby Pumps x2, Watermelon Rind, Up All Night, tinsle, a peachy brown polish, a pinky polish (names escape me) and two bottles of matte making polish
– Orly: Twilight and Gold glitter top coat
– cuticle tools
– hand sugar scrubs

Now I just need to get some mini baskets or boxes to put them in and I’m pretty much done shopping for my girlfriends and only spent like $10 per person. 🙂
For me:
I used my $15 VIB coupon and finally got the Tarte Cheek Stain in Blissful that I have lusting after but didn’t want to pay full price ($39 CND). It really is blissful.
Gosh concealer/eye brights in #2 and it works great on concealing those blue bags around my eyes (I’m NW15 in MAC for reference).

Annnnnd I think I will keep the China Glaze Up All Night (beautiful!) for myself. hahaha

I LOVE Le Metier de Beaute’s peche lip gloss. It smells good. :] And Keihl’s coconut lip balm is one of my favorite lip products ever [I could never use anything else!].
