MAC Amberluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow Palette ($40.00 for 0.14 oz.) contains "five complementary shades that glide on and blend beautifully for infinite day-to-night looks." MAC describes it as a "hybrid formula" that can be applied dry for sheer color, wet for opaque color. Amberluxe is a warm-toned, orange-y palette that goes from warm white to dark brown. The formula is quite blendable, but some shades are so soft that they are almost crumbly and prone to powderiness. I highly recommend applying the palette prior to any base makeup, as there is a ton of fall out (both in the form of powder and glitter/sparkle) during application, even when lightly patting color on. There is fall out during wear as well with the more sparkly/glittery shades. I find these look prettier on and in person than they appear in photos, but you have to like a fairly glittery look. I have the best luck applying these when using a dampened brush, as the dry application tends to go on unevenly as the powder doesn't adhere quite as well.
