I LOVE fall collections!! They’re easily my favorite collections of the year besides the holiday ones lol. Warm colors are my favorite and I love seeing what new warm neutrals, plums, berries, etc. makeup companies come out with each year!

I love the darker shades of the season. I just wish there were more medium fall shades available, between the bright shades of summer and the extremely dark shades that foretell the coming of winter. I feel like there’s a lack of shades that are just a little bit darker then the bright ones and shades a little bit brighter than the dark ones. There’s just not enough color choices for the pale girls who can’t pull off brights or darks without looking sullen and unhealthy.
Dark lipsticks are my favorite part. How many plums, purples, burgundies, and wines do I need? Always at least one more 🙂

Darn – I forgot my serious answer. Fall is my favourite time of year and while I don’t really keep au courant with the makeup collections (it’s more what I see here at Temptalia than actually following magazine ads, etc.), but it just follows that I would love the “typical” warmer reds, plums, all the lovely rich colours of fall makeup.
It’s funny by far I am a summer girl insofar as the hotter the better, but I do love Fall clothes and makeup. So far I purchased MUFE August 2014 palette, Smashbox Cherry Smoke, Lancome Jason Wu palette, Chanel Tisse Venitien, two of the new Studded Kiss lipsticks (Adora and Thin Lizzy), some of the new Charlotte Tilbury and that’s just what popped into my head in 10 seconds. Slowing down on the Fall colors now!
My birthday happens to be in fall, so I get to buy everything without even spending my own money. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I love the Fall Makeup Collections because of the fall colors, but I hate it because most of it is limited edition. Like the Milani Collection. I’m trying to hunt those things down!
Although I love the smokey plummy shades we see every year, I tend not to wear them when they lean too red! I’d love to see more grey toned shades, for all color products! It would be interesting for a change, even just a single addiction to a collection! I ADORE grey tones.. I know there aren’t many who think they look good in them – but it’s so hard to give it a whirl when there’s so little choice on the market! Such a shame!!!
I love fall colors and fall scents absolutely to death. Unfortunately, I’m a student, so the collections are always coming out right after moving in and buying textbooks and restocking my kitchen. So my budget is always tighter and my stress is higher which means I nix all spending to keep myself from stress-shopping. Urgh.
Perhaps if I lived somewhere with actual seasons I’d have an opiinion, but since I just wear what actually suits me, I’m fairly indifferent. Also, more often we’re seeing more brands releasing atypical shades in seasonal collections, so although I do prefer the shades typically associated with Fall/Winter year-round, it seems those shades are always available.
My only “rant” would be the fact that collections are no longer in line with seasons, but more of an excuse to come up with subpar LE products that I’d rather see rotated into the permanent lines, and be of the same quality. NARS actually does this quite well, though, and keeps products around long enough to buy the occasional LE item!
For eyes I see select jewel tones carrying over into fall such as emerald green and plum. Also I’m seeing a lot of buzz over rich burgundy eyeshadow.
For lips I’m already seeing people yelling the words VAMPY LIPS from every social media site I look at. The past two weeks have been that ad nauseam on the mua subreddit haha.
I love that heavier/more makeup comes back in during fall. In all honesty I wear a lot year round, but it makes me smile to see other people sporting a full face. I can never resist a good ruby or plum lipstick, either. The bold orange-rust eyes this year are my favorite fall trend to far. It’s so bold and almost gothic, and edgy enough that it feels new and not like a fall makeup cliche.
I love fall lipsticks and blushes, I don’t do well with most fall eye colors though.

While I do love holiday collections because you can get good deals, fall collections are most definitely my favorite of the whole year. I just always like the color selections, the plums and the greens and the browns, the pretty versions of vampy reds and MLBB shades… LOVE! Obviously, there’s nothing I hate about them lol

Rant: Blushes and lipsticks tend to get pretty dark, which is not easy for us pale girls to pull off.
I’m not one for dark colors so I do wish they’d throw in some…well maybe not brights, but at least some nudes or more muted light colors for fall. I actually think I’m going to go out of my comfort zone and try some berry colored lippies for the season though!
Autumn collections are often my favourite, mostly because it’s when the purples tend to come out! 😀 On the flipside, sometimes brands seem to use ‘fall’ as an excuse to come out with dirty olive ‘neutrals’ that look terrible on me (Obviously great for others, but I needed a ‘rant’ LOL!)
I love fall and fall colors, but unfortunately I live in Southern California where fall does not exist. 🙁 So I have to get my fall fix where I can. However, I agree with you, Christine, and another commenter – some lighter colors to contrast with all the moody, gorgeous, dark vampy colors would be nice, especially for us fairer complexions. I feel like when I wear dark lip colors, it’s just like, LIPS LIPS coming at you! Although I did just dye my hair dark brown from my natural blondish brown, so maybe I can pull it off this time around!

I’ve only really started paying attention to new makeup collections in the lat few years so I’m still learning! I do love muted deep colours that come with fall, but I have to agree with Christine I’d like to see unexpected pops of bright colour!
Oh I love them! I love all those typical fall colors we see again every year. Especially the eyeshadow colors. When it comes to lipstick I’m more a summer type I think.
I generally like the fall collections, plum is a favourite colour as is eggplant. The lipsticks is most often what I love the most, berries and plums, I fall for them every year.
I love all the neutral eyeshadow palettes (Nude Dip, I’m looking at you, as I do all day when I’m home LOL).
I abhor the nineties red brown lipstick revival. Please, please make it go away!
