These seem to be the type of powdered highlighter that sucker me in on design and then I buy and never use and stash with the rest of my ultra secret hoard of goodies…which is kinda crazy, I know.
It’s not at all crazy – I still have a special place in my heart for the last incredible embossed highlighter that Chanel released (that I couldn’t get). I know I’d never have touched it, and if I got this it’d just be there to be admired too, heh. It’s good that they’re powder products – justifies leaving them to sit! 😀

I am by no means a Chanel fan, but that is a gorgeous powder. But 80 bucks for it? I mean, if I were a collector, probably, but as a ‘normal’ user…. How do I justify the 80 bucks? Can anyone help me?

I’m so excited to pick this up! I was on the pre-sale list for this and was debating for the longest time whether or not to keep my name on the list as it’s so expensive. However, it’s so gorgeous so I’m planning to purchase this after all!

The pattern is lovely but I don’t think I’d buy just based on cost alone.
Damn it I’m just after the packaging. I just want to stare at the lace pattern all day and never use it. Makeup should be used, not locked away to never be seen again. Do you think you could do a wallpaper version of this compact, Christine?

This powder is absolutely beautiful in person and swatched beautifully too. Chanel generally underwhelms me, but this is a winner.

Heavens, I didn’t realize it was so expensive when I purchased it last week. It is gorgeous though, and I love it. Ya only live once!
For all the Canadians on the hunt for this highlighter, I just purchased this at a chanel counter at the bay for $76. Surprisingly, they actually had quite a few left even though it was released almost 3 months ago. It was sold out at holt renfrew though… so I suggest checking a couple different locations!

I bought this when it first launched in France only through ebay a couple of months ago. It’s absolutely gorgeous! The design in this doesn’t fade as quickly as the other powders, it remains there even after a few uses.

Nordstrom exclusive here at least… I believe it was already released internationally before? but I’m not sure.
This is a masterpiece! Like a Mona Lisa among powders.
I guess all is really said when it comes to the beauty of this. It’s so deilcate, I’d be afraid to ruin it. And then there’s the cost of it. It’s not going to be mine, but I sure admire the design a lot.
