Becca Papaya/Topaz Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle Review, Photos, Swatches
Becca Papaya/Topaz Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle
Becca Papaya/Topaz Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle ($27.00 for 0.20 oz.) is described as a “bright tangerine red infused with golden bronze.” It’s a rich, copper-shimmered reddish bronze with warm undertones and a soft, frosted sheen. NARS Na Pali Coast (P, $39.00) is redder, less warm-toned. MAC Magnetic Appeal (LE, $30.00) is less red-toned, powder. MAC Exotic Ember (LE, $25.00) is darker, less golden. Illamasqua Supernatural (P, $24.00) is lighter. MAC Worldly Wealth (LE, $21.00) is less red-toned, powder. Of all the shades in the range, this is the deepest and darkest, but the formula is forgiving, blendable, and buildable, so it can be worn very sheerly or applied at full-strength. Becca’s newest cream blush is supposed to give a “pop of color” while still highlighting the skin, as it combines their Beach Tints and Shimmering Skin Perfectors into a single product. The texture is wet to the touch, spongy, airy, and whipped, and on the skin, it applies smoothly, evenly, and sets and feels more powder-like once on. It has a tropical, sweet fruity scent that I can detect in the jar but not really applied. One downside is the high-shimmer content did just slightly emphasize pores along my cheeks–not too noticeably but still a bit. This shade lasted for eight and a half hours when I tested it.

Do they have papaya with Moonstone combination? I’d love that one more I think! This looks pretty much terra-cotta and a bit too much to me!
Not pre-made – if you wanted that, you could theoretically purchase the shades individually and mix yourself!
Beautiful! In all ways! And I love the glow of this one on you. So far, reading the different reviews you’re doing on this product I like this shade the best..which I didn’t expect. They’re all lovely and look great with your skin tone. I’m curious to read the rest of your reviews!
Thanks a lot, Megan! 🙂
That lipstick/gloss looks like one for a Barbie doll.
To each their own, I guess! 🙂
I meant in a good way.
Even better then 🙂
BEAUTIFUL! For the pore thing, perhaps tap Nars Light Reflecting Loose Settting Powder? That’s don’t the trick for me! It does NOT spoil the beauty at all! This is fabulously full of potential, I love it on you! 😀 Happy Mother’s Day! 😀 <3 XO
Thanks for the tip!
Sure 🙂
I actually rap a tiny bit of MUFE HD setting powder or the NARS crystal powder- the one in the compact- and those help with pores, as well. I have dry/ normal skin, so my pores aren’t crazy big, but tapping a very tiny bit on top of this product helps mask my pores without disturbing the product- especially the NARS, the MUFE does mattify it slightly. Love these- waiting for the rest if the shades to come back in stock so I can order term as well. I must ordered the raspberry combo and I can’t wait for your review on that one! I love the guava and the watermelon combos- they are so pretty!
Fabulous! Thanks, Genna! I’m glad Im not the only one this works for! I think many fear disturbing the product, but I so agree that, especially the Nars, totally works and the product stays brilliant! I’m eager to see raspberry as well! May I ask, have you used the regular beach tints before? And for you, how do you like these in comparison? I may cave to purchase, so I appreciate what you have to say as I’ve been on the fence. <3! 😀
Oh, this is beautiful! I’d buy this in the future.
Yay! 🙂
Oooh this is definitely the most interesting shade out of the whole bunch for me.
Glad ya liked it!
Not loving this one as it looks too frosty and very much like a bronzer, but I do think it could be super beautiful on medium or darker skintones. For me, I do not see this shade working. Grateful I did not spontaneously pick this one up. 🙂
Phew 😀
Oh, I like this one. It reminds me a little of NARS’ Taj Mahal, but deeper.
Almost wearable in a way, because it’s not as “bright.”
All the colors you’ve reviewed so far have been absolutely stunning! Especially on you ;D. I wish the packaging was cuter though.
At least it’s compact and travel-friendly!
Wow, what a gorgeous autumn coloured blush! 😀 I imagine I’d have to go *very* sheer, LOL,
Thankfully, it’s very blendable!
This was the shade I was most looking forward to, but I think I prefer the others a bit more!
Your wallet may breathe a sigh of relief!
That’s pretty dramatic on you but perfect for darker skin tones I bet!
It’s nice for darker skin tones for sure!
Another pretyy shade from Becca.. and its so so pigmented.. I think I will use it up more as an eye shadow.. 😉
Super pigmented 😀
THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting swatches AND an actual picture of the product on your face! There are so few pictures of these Becca souflees online and they are only in a few select Sephoras, so it’s hard to know which one to buy or what they look like.
My pleasure, Sophie! xoxo
what do you use to apply these? i cant figure out the best way to apply them that’s the only hing i don’t like about them because they are gorgeous
Hi Elle!
I like MAC’s stippling brushes!
