Chanel Sweet Lilac (615) Le Vernis Nail Colour
Chanel Sweet Lilac (615) Le Vernis Nail Colour ($27.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “lilac.” It’s a cool-toned, light-medium pink with a cream finish. It was mostly opaque after two coats, and the consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin and flowed well across the nail. Cult Nails Falling Hard (LE, $12.00) is darker. Illamasqua Harem (P, $17.00) is brighter. MAC Vagabondage (LE, $16.00) is similar. MAC Pinkly Fresh (LE, $16.00) is similar. Essie Cascade Cool (LE, $8.00) is darker. Such pretty colours!
They are!
Pretty shades.
Very wearable!
I love both the shades! They are amazing indeed 🙂
Woohoo!1
Pink Tonic is pretty! Reminds me a bit of a pink popsicle 🙂
So true!
While they are both cute shades, I’m not really wowed by them I guess with Chanel it’s their groundbreaking shades or the real complex ones that get my attention.
I hear ya – these are more basic/staples!
Chanel is killing me with their polishes lately! I’m still swooning over Coup de Coeur.
Coup de Coeur is more interesting than these two, I think!
How would you compare Dior Bonheur to Chanel Pink Tonic ?
Sorry, Meera, I don’t have that!
Both colors are beautiful!
Agreed!
I really wanted this to be more like the Chanel Lilac Sky polish LE, but it seems too pink and more sheer. I may have to try Pink Tonic. I DO like the new Tutti Fruiti as well!. All in all, I think the collection was good, but not as spectacular as last summer’s Metamorphisis collection !
The colors are fun, but they seem more dupable than not!
Sweet Lilac is lovely 🙂 I mean, Pink Tonic is too, but I already have Rose Insolent, so I think my ‘bright pink’ quota from Chanel’s nail polish range is probably filled 😉
Pink Tonic is a shade I’ve seen a lot!
Ooohhh, Sweet Lilac is a lot (a LOT) lighter than I thought it would be. Not sure how well that will go with my olive-y skin. 🙁 Pink tonic is delightful though. 🙂
Well, out of 5 nail polishes I’m down to 2 (with the possibility of one more). Thank you Christine! 🙂
No problem, Carolina! 🙂
Love the Sweet Lilac shade, so beautiful! Can’t wait to get my hands on this one!
Enjoy, Alex!
Way out of my nail polish price range, but the colours are pretty!
They’re definitely pretty shades!
Both are very pretty and sweet !
They are!
I could see both being beautiful toe shades for my skin tone 🙂
Nice!
I really like the first one. Most light pinks are too warm for me or they are too light/pastel/white based. This one seems perfect.
I hope it works for you if you end up getting it!
Sweet Lilac is not a color I would normally go for, but I think it’s very cute!
It applies really well for a lilac, too!
Can I suggest a more affordable dupe for sweet lilac? Sephora Formula X in Radical is spot on. I’m wearing it now 🙂
Thanks for the suggestion!
Ahhh… Remember Lilac Sky? This one is like it, but more pink! Both here=Beautiful! 🙂
Lilac Sky was very pretty!
I’m glad you liked it! 🙂
