I’ve had my eye on this for a while (the Chanel – ever sine I saw Lisa Eldridge use it in several of her videos), but Nyx Peach looks like a nice alternative for the wallet! Of course, by the time I get some Nyx shipped here, It’ll probably cost the same as the Chanel, so… 😛

The swatches look great and they are a great alternative….but rose initiale is one of the only really high end blushes I own and use so so often. I find that in the morning I can be kind of heavy handed with blushes and not realize until I’m at work how much I have on. With rose initiale I find that it’s a sheerer blush and I always seem to have the right amount on and the color is so natural. It pains me to spend that kind of money on blush but after wearing this one for a year or so- this is one I would splurge on!

I think that this shade might end up a staple for me, too, so it’s nice to hear that it has stood the test of time for you. I think that if you love something and use it a lot, it’s probably money better spent than buying something cheap and ending up with clown cheeks/never using it! Just my two cents.
I’m in love with the blush. Will I buy it? Probably not. I don’t think I’ll purchase a dupe either, unless it performs exactly as the Chanel on the skin, application, blendability, wear, everything. Welcome to spring!
It will be tough to find a much lower priced powder that has the same silky texture, unfortunately! 🙁

I’m not sure I own that shade, but from what I remember, it might be brighter!
Actually, I think it might be quite close! Fleur Power is deceptively bright in the case, yet a gorgeous satin blush. I’ve included two links to others’ swatches of Fleur Power for your discrimination. 😉 It is a beautiful pink with some warmth that can work for anybody! I think you need it, lol. It would ideally work with your coloring! 😀

Yeah, I fully grasp what you’re saying. I guess by the different swatches I was trying to surmise that it adjusts and plays the role quite closely enough for all.. If you just combine the viewing.. Once upon a time Mac had three satin blushes; Dame, Well Dressed, and Fleur Power. Fleur Power has become the quintessential “color” for Mac that Rose Initiale is for Chanel. Does that make sense? I’m having interfering issues which I’m unsure if are affecting my ability to communicate clearly. And yes, you’re welcome for patience. I’m glad you posted the Bite Agave Lip Mask, amongst other things, and I apologize for not joining discussions. I’m participating from afar as I go through these lovely changes.
