I really love MAC’s 131 brush! The flat shape really works, and the blend of fibers ensures you never over-apply.

Exactly, the RT Expert Face Brush. Hate that brush for foundation, but cream blush… fantastic. Better then my fingers for blending. I use the Illamasqua Velvet blush in Sleek on a daily base.

Elf small stipple brush! Soft bristles that make blending easy, and duo-fibre so it picks up the right amount of color, and small enough to have precise application and good control!

I have only tried two brushes for cream blush as I usually stick with powder blush. I first tried a Sonia Kashuk black handled flat top small kabuki with short dense synthetic hair. It did a really pretty good job of both applying and blending but I wanted something a little lighter on my skin. I finally tracked down the Elf small stipple brush. It took me several months as my Target was always out of them. This gives me the perfect application. I no longer have the Kashuk one so I don’t know it’s official name, but I always seem them at Target.

I just purchased the Le Blush Creme de Chanel in Cheeky(love!) and tested several of my brushes…Elf small stippling, Mac 188, and the small Sonia Kashuk stippling brush. I found my Mac 159 the best and really perfect for this task…with a little extra help from my fingers for blending.

The Real Techniques setting brush – I love the size and shape of this brush, it’s easy to blend and build up color!

The RT stippling brush. I have two; one which I use for my BB cream that’s quite thin in consistency (oil free formula) and the other I use for my Benefit stains as well as my cream blush. The brush is so wonderful! It really helps buff the product into my skin. I found Cha Cha Tint completely useless until I bought these.
