Light olive, and I have almost completely given up on on sunscreen products after several severe skin reactions and being diagnosed with a significant vitamin D deficiency, even tho I work a good portion of my day outside . I still use sunscreen at the beach and swimming pool but not daily. The current product I use for my body is Supergoop spray, I am tolerating it okay. And the best sunscreen for my face and lips is a wide brim hat.

Skintone: Light neutral with yellow undertones – NC20-25
Face: Obagi sunscreen SPF 35 for my face, neck and decolletage.
Body: drugstore cream sun protection followed by Coppertone sport spray on. Anything over SPF30.
I stay well out of the sun and if I am in the sun, I have a hat on and my body covered so I typically do not reach for the higher SPF factors.

Best sunscreen for body: Neutrogena, either Ultrasheer or Ultimate Sport.
Best sunscreen for face: Neutrogena Clear Face. Great for oily, acne-prone skin.
Best PF for lips: A tie between Kiss My Face sliced peach lip balm and EOS lemon drop lip balm. Both have SPF 15. Both smell amazing.

Best sunscreen for body? Most pleasant to use? Sisley Sunleya. But whether it’s the best? Probably not. Nivea probably works just as well.

I’m allergic to chemical sunblock. >___> Last time i used it i had a rash of hives over my upper body for 2+ weeks before it cleared up. You would not believe the number of product that have it in it so I’m always testing on the back of my arm first. lol

Best sunscreen for body: AVEENO® BABY Sensitive Skin Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 (I can use this son the face as well)

Best sunscreen for face: AVEENO® BABY Sensitive Skin Face Sun Stick SPF 50. I use it on my exposed neck and chest as well.

Best sunscreen/SPF product for lips: Jack Black ntense Therapy Lip Balm SPF 25 line.

Best sunscreen for body? I really like Eucerin’s SPF15 body moisturizer. Supergoop is also a great SPF-heavy moisturizer, though a tad on the pricier end since it’s a much higher SPF.
Best sunscreen for face? Cetaphil’s SPF50 daily moisturizer is pretty great. I use it year round. It does leave a bit of a shine but nothing a little powder can’t tone down.
Best sunscreen/SPF product for lips? Supergoop has an SPF30 balm that I love for intense summer days. Otherwise, I either use Jack Black lip balm or Chapstick’s SPF4 (lol) more often on winter or rainy days.

SKIN TONE: nc15-20
BODY: Banana Boat Ultra Defense Sheer Protect spf 50, love it! it’s not greasy AT ALL. Or Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration spf 50, it smells better but it’s more expensive.
FACE: Avene Emulsion SPF 50+. It’s great for sensitive skin, oil free, alcohol free, paraben free. It absorbs super quicly, feels kind of like a primer and doesn’t leave my face white or breaks me out, LOVE IT
LIPS: Labello Sun Protect spf 30 or Carmex (the original) spf 15

Best sunscreen for body? The cancer society one is pretty good here.
Best sunscreen for face? Anything for babies or sensitive skin. Usually, I cannot stand sunscreen on my face, so it has to be very inoffensive. It burns and itches and gives me eczema! 🙁
Best sunscreen/SPF product for lips? I loathe lip balm with overt sunscreen I it. I can just about stand the baby lips ones, but that’s it!

Fortunately,I spend most of my time in the dark with a laser, so… 😛

Best sunscreen for body? I’m not fussy – anything with an SPF of 50 or higher and I’m happy with drugstore house brands
Best sunscreen for face? La Roche Posay Anthelios (I think that’s the spelling) with SPF 60.. Before getting this, I always used either Kiehl’s Super Fluid SPF 50 or Clarins UV Plus SPF 40. I like all 3 because they are not greasy and feel light and matte on the skin
Best sunscreen/SPF product for lips? Jack Black – not “the best” but it’s the one I have that I use. I’d like to find something a bit heavier for wearing out in the sun/at the beach.

Your skin tone/coloring: super fair redhead, I burn like crazy

Best sunscreen for body? For daily use, I like Eucerin moisterizer with SPF 15. For outdoor stuff, I’ll get a sport version in a really high SPF. Haven’t found a great one, Hawaian Tropic used to have one that wore like iron but stopped making it.

Best sunscreen for face? Elta Md Clear 46. Super light weight so I wear it everyday, perfect under make-up and it doesn’t make me break out.

Best sunscreen/SPF product for lips? On the weekends at outdoor stuff, usually a SPF 45 sport lip balm. Otherwise, usually just an opaque lipstick.

I smear Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55 all over myself and wear Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 on lips. I’ve been wearing Dr Jart’s BB cream which also has SPF and I think it’s been protecting my face a lot.

I have been negligent about sunblock because I’m a brown girl and I tan easy so I thought I could get away with it but I keep forgetting that I’m NC-20 and I live in a 45 degree Celsius country where I burn spectacularly almost every summer. My mum also never wore sunblock and she’s gone from my skin colour to a very very ruddy and damaged skin NC-30. So, with that cautionary tale in mind I’ve been wearing sunblock regularly.

And I need a post about damaged skin so I can get some tips for my mum. I’ve been thinking of buying her the Peter Roth’s Camu Camu Anti-Wrinkle Brightening stuff but I have no idea if it’ll work.

Best sunscreen for body: Coppertone Water Babies (I have very sensitive skin, so I prefer to use baby sunscreen)
Best sunscreen for face: Neutrogena Sport Face – hands down the best sunscreen I have tried for wearing underneath makeup
Best sunscreen/SPF product for lips: I haven’t found a good one yet!

Too pale and yellow toned for most foundations.
Neutrogena spray spf 50
Hollika hollika peach girl bb cream spf 45 in shade 01
I just slather the peach girl on my lips then top it with lipstick.

skintone: very fair, NW13
sunscreen for body: Neutrogena. But why oh why does everything have to be scented?
sunscreen for face: La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 60. Also use Alba Botanica CC cream with SPF 15, topped with Clinique powder with SPF 25.
sunscreen for lips: Clinique Longwear Gloss has SPF (or so I’ve been told, hope so!)

I also have a couple of hugely wide-brimmed hats from Solumbra and always wear sunglasses outside. This summer I think I’m going to spring for one of Solumbra’s long-sleeved, lightweight tees to wear outside.

Skin: Normal to dry with yellow undertones, medium-light, around (I get confused with the terminology) NC30 I guess. I used to be around NC 40 when I was not using sunscreen and did lots of outdoor activities. I live in a very hot and sunny country.
Sunscreen for body: Any will do, I like to use the spray one sometimes, since I hate having tanned feet which in me seem dirty.
Sunscreen for face: After a lot of searching, my current go to is La Roche Posay 50+ Anthelios XLTinted Extreme Fluid, it is skin colored. I also have a white one with SPF 30 as back up and I am trying a sample of Murad Oil Free Sunscreen SPF30 (thicker, but works fine) In the mornings I sometimes put on a serum, and then I use them as primers, an then I put on some BB cream also with SPF, or sometimes foundation.
Sunscreen for lips, I never use that one. Nothing stays in my lips for long. Maybe If I were going to the beach I would think about it.

mari Avatar

Oh, I forgot, For the face I also use the NEutrogena 60 one, and it is good on me, but only when I am not wearing makeup.
