Sneak Peek: NARS Artistry Brushes Photos

NARS Artistry Brushes
NARS Artistry Brushes

Launching April 1st, NARS Artistry Brushes will feature 16 different shapes. (You can see the full list of what’s to come with pricing and information here.) The brushes range from $28 to $52. Each has a long, matte black handle with a matte black metal ferrule. The bottom of the handle is round and flat with a shiny red tip. It’ll take me at least a couple of weeks to work through these and use them enough to give you some thoughts–I really like to use and test brushes for several weeks (sometimes months) to see what I reach for, what works for this application or that one, and to see how they hold up to multiple washings. Stay tuned!

Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Exactly! All I need is her opinion on a product before I make the decision whether to purchase it or not. If Christine says a product is good I trust her 100%. And so far I haven’t been disappointed! Thank you for working so hard on this blog Christine <3

Hi Beka! I agree, lots to choose from. For eyeshadow brushes in the J series I love J004G for applying color and crease/blending brushes J5523, J142 and J146. For the face I use J210 as a blush brush. I could go on and on (lol). For more guidance, I recommend reading blogs by Sweet Makeup Temptations, Shameless Fripperies, The Non Blonde, Glossed In Translation for detailed reviews. Hope this was helpful. Good luck!

Hey Hun! I thought I saw on another post of yours that the Ita brush was in this collection. Is it not going to be? I NEED that!!!

i only have one NARS brush-the huge one that came out with the powder last year. i find it really scratchy and it sheds and bleeds. it definitely wasn’t worth $75. i hope these are better quality.
