We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Please, give yourself a huge treat and try Chanel’s cream blushes if you can – they’re amazing 🙂 (sorry, on a bit of a soapbox about these at the moment! :-D)

OT: I’d love to try Revlon’s new Matte and Lacquer balms, if they’d consider actually *releasing* them here instead of just putting up the advertising and empty stands for two months… 😛

The upcoming NARS Dual Intensity eyeshadow. I have no idea what that means exactly, but the fact it’s a new formula, and based on the color descriptions, they sound very intriguing.

With the EL lippies on the way, I am looking at the new Giorgio Armani blushes and bronzers and I am curious about the new MAC mascara (just looked it up: Studio Sculpt Lash) with the wand that looks like the one from Sisley So Intense mascara which I very much love, but shudder every time I pay its outrageous and shameful price. Didn’t hear about the new Givenchy cream shadow yet, but I bet you can add that to the list as well. Also going to try out a couple of foundation products from Becca.

Dying to try the new Hourglass blushes…I moved from the Bay Area to the Central Coast (I am loving Capitola!!), but man do I miss Sephora. I am beginning to get some low end brands and have been pleasantly surprised with their quality.

i really want to try armani’s cheek and sun fabrics. i love a lot of armani products, but, somehow, i’ve never tried their powder products (other than eyeshadow). i’m also always on the lookout for a great foundation, i think tom ford stick foundation will be next on my list.

Sabrina’s review (the beauty look book) of Tom Ford’s Traceless Foundation Stick really caught my eye. I hope someone here can talk me out of buying it. I’ve loved the new MUFE HD cream blush formula this year.

I have and it’s a personal fav. Great because the coverage is there and you can build in areas only where you need it, but it isn’t heavy and does not read on skin as a heavier foundation. Puts a really nice subtle glow. Probably not best for oily, but rarely is stick good for that skin type anyway. I have in colour Fawn.. very neutral leaning slightly warm. Seamless.

Thanks for the feedback, WWENDALYNNE! Looking at swatches online, I’m probably a bit darker than 05 Natural but not as dark as 06 Sable, but I do prefer a shade with yellow undertones. I don’t have any counters near me to try, but I am so tempted by all the great reviews.

Nars Light Reflecting Loose Setting Powder and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder….but I would never try them because they are not available in Greece 🙁 Maybe more lucky with the YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush and G . Armani new Cheek Fabric Sheer Blush if they launched in my country.

CC Creams are not really that new, but I’ve only just started getting interested in them. I was hesitant because I never liked any of the gazillion BB creams out there. So I figured CC Creams were the same. But a few are actually pretty nice — they’re more moisturizing, which is perfect for my dry, aging skin.
I’m also currently obsessed with cream eyeshadows and blushes. I want to try them all!

The new benefit big easy bb cream thing
For what i’ve read so far, it seems like it’s good for combination skin/ warmer weather, because it’s oil free, spf 35 and light coverage/feeling on the skin
seems perfect for me!

Givenchy Le Rouge lipstick.
To a much lesser extent also Dior and Armani lipstick, Guerlain Les Violettes powder and Dior Hydra Life BB cream.
