As much as we love Naked, we’re serious color junkies at heart. When we launched The Vice Palette andsaw how CRAZY everyone went over Chaos (a brilliant matte blue), we realized our fans craved bright shades as much as us. Inspired by Chaos, Urban Decay launches Electric Pressed Pigment Palette. The ultimate fix for color addicts, this gorgeous palette is packed with ten of the brightest, most amazing shades you’ve ever laid eyes on. In addition to Chaos (yes, it’s back!), this palette marks the return of Revolt (a silver standout from our Anarchy Face Case). All the other shades are NEW! From ultrasmooth mattes to highly dimensional shimmers, each VELVETY shade delivers insane color payout. Why do a Pressed Pigment Palette? Using pressed pigments was the only way to create heavily saturated brights with the intense pigment load we craved. Traditional eyeshadow formulas just wouldn’t cut it.
If you’ve tried seemingly bright shades like these before, you know that a lot of them appear brilliant in the pan, but in reality look chalky, lack smooth application and don’t look anywhere near as vibrant on your eye. Not so with Electric. We carefully crafted the formula on every shade to make sure each one would apply with a soft and creamy texture and deliver serious color payout. Wende can’t get enough of Jilted (an unbelievable bright metallic fuchsia with a blue shift). And our Product Development team is really into Fringe (a gorgeous, bright metallic teal), Urban (the most amazing bright metallic purple) and Freak (a bright green with a gold shift, inspired by our 24/7 Eye Pencil shade).
The case is as cool as the shades inside. Emblazoned with “ELECTRIC,” this slim, sleek palette features a vivid, dimensional, multilayered smoke-screen print reminiscent of the shades inside. And the mirror is huge! Electric Pressed Pigment Palette also includes our NEW cruelty-free, double-ended pressed pigment brush (an all-black brush with bright purple synthetic brush fibers). Even though I know I will never ever wear colors like this in real life, I kind of want this just so I can play around with it!
It’s a fun palette to play for sure… part of the fun being trying to wear just the shades in the palette together, lol! 😉
But if you’re not into super bold color all-over the lid, you could try wearing it as a pop of color in places like the crease, outer lid, lower lash line, upper lash line, etc.
I really like a pop color liner or shadow as liner on an almost nude eye!
me too, I feel they are wild and bright but sooo cool…
I worked in an ultra-conservative bank, with a strictly-enforced dress-code, and I frequently wore red liner on the upper lashline. It was very subtle to those I interacted with, but really made my eyes pop! Also, a neutral eye with a bit of color in the crease or outer corner can be subtle & work-appropriate, but also a lot of fun.
I’m ridiculously excited for this!

I love the look of Jilted and Urban. It is hard to find a super pigmented purple. Buuut I will most likely be passing on this palette because I wouldn’t be able to wear most of these colors.
When I saw the first picture I though this was a sleek palette!

Usually that means the eye – like the eyelid, crease, etc.
I’m actually really impressed by the packaging cover design! I certainly whets the appetite for bold colour:-)

I have been doing Google searches for this on a daily basis since I first heard about it. I love Urban Decay and I will use this palette to work in conjunction with all the neutrals and muted colors I have. Cannot wait to get my hands on this! I would pre-order it now if I could!
WAY to bright for me to consider it wearable and flattering on me in my mid-40s. Twenty years ago, I’d have been all over this! Now I prefer more of the Bobbi Brown polished girl next door look. 🙂

I really want this, but I just don’t know if I can rock those many colors. I also know I’m at my limit for neutral palettes…time for a pros and cons list! Maybe it’s time to be a little more daring 🙂
Ahhhhh this is BEAUTIFUL!!! Hopefully I get my hands on this before we leave for Disney at the end of the month!!
When i first heard that they were coming out with a palette featuring all brights i could not have been happier. Seriously, i was jumping for joy and blasting the song “its electric”! Im so glad that they have come to the realization of their demographic and that we makeup junkies LOVE. BRIGHTS. Dont get me wrong, the naked palettes became a staple for any MUA out there, however i think they got so entranced in the naked buzz that they put their usual edgy/fun products on hold. As both a makeup artist and edgy/punk teen, I was worried that the urban decay that i fell in love with had toned down. This has proven that they still got their edgy soul and i cannot be happier!
Oh to be in my late teens/early twenties when I would have rocked the colours in this palette but now I’m in my late 40’s……..not so much! Shame, as they’re quite pretty.
I’m also way.waaay past my teens, but I will absolutely buy and use this pallette. A bit of bright eyeshadow just makes eyes seem brighter and more awake. Maybe we don’t feel like sweeping it all over the lids (I do), but use a bright as an accent is totally doable.
This is just me, of course. I love the shadows Bobbie Brown makes but I can’t commit to just using neutrals.

if you could have rocked these colors… you still can. Age has nothing to do with it!! You don’t have to plaster these all over your eyes. A hint of bright pop in the inner corner or a neon line, or blend one out from the crease for a bit of drama for a night out. Why not. You can still have fun in your 40’s, 50’s and beyond.
I’ll be 52 this year, and I agree with what Helene and Meredith said. Experiment and have fun! Life is too short. 🙂

What a great way to get rid of liners and have precise colors for when it’s time to place that bright that sets off the color of our eyes! 🙂
Those colours – definitely not for the faint-hearted (i.e. me!) I would love to see some looks using this palette – that would give us an idea on how to best use this palette!
I am still a beginner, I could not use the entire palette for a full eye look. But these look like great liner colors. I can wait to try these.
