I gave my best friend of 28 years the Chantecaille Wild Horses Palette for Christmas. She loves it!

I brought my Mum Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation as a Christmas present.
For Xmas, I gave my friend a Caudalie gift set that included a full sized Divine Oil and travel sizes of scrub and a leg lotion. I also got her a full sized jar of the scrub.

I bought 3 friends Bourjois new Violine Hypnotique this week – it’s the most beautiful jewel burgundy polish that lasts an age on the nail (if I’d let it).
It’s the only polish I’ve ever removed 3 times to put straight back on again so I know it’s good stuff.

At Christmas I gave my daughter one of the Tarte Holiday sets–can’t remember the name, but it was HUGE! I also gave my son’s girlfriend Dior Show mascara and a Fresh lip product set.
I gave my colleaque a Lanolips banana balm when she was transferred to another department. Eadequate her stress from adapting new environment.
For Christmas, I gave one of my close girlfriends a makeup bag with some of my favorite goodies inside. Benefit’s They’re Real, Too Faced Better Than False Lashes, a couple of Glam Glow eye mask pods, samples of Freeman’s face masks… I threw a couple other goodies in there, but that’s all I can remember! It was so much fun putting it together for her – she always comments on my lashes, so I wanted to make sure I got some great lash boosters in there for her.
I have a Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Plum coming in the mail for my mum today!
I bought MAC RiRi Woo Lipstick for my sister last summer.
For Christmas I got my cousin the Urban Decay Feminine palette when it was on sale. She adores it!
I gave my house sitter a YSL Volupte gloss and a Zoya nail polish set-I hope she enjoyed it!
I gave the Kate Moss for Rimmel lipstick in shade 01 to my older sister for her birthday back in December. She borrowed it from me for an event and the shade looked so stunning on her, I knew she had to have her own. I also made lip balm using shea butter, beeswax, and oils, which I gave as small Christmas gifts to my friends, family, and coworkers.
I am waiting to receive some NYX Illuminator Powders (I think that is the name) to give as a birthday gift to a girlfriend just venturing out into the make-up world. I am putting together a “My Fav Things” (Temptalia Reader Recommendations 🙂 box of drugstore pieces. I gave MAC lipsticks and glosses as X-mas gifts this past year.

I gave my sisters, my cousin, and my best friend the “Give Me Some Lip” set from Sephora. And, they all loved them. I’m thinking of picking up a couple of Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks in Naked during the 20% event as it is such a great color that looks amazing on everyone and I always like to have a couple of giftable treats handy. Fun question!
For christmas every year I give my sister a gift bag with approx 5 to 9 makeup items that I’ve selected just for her throughout the year. This last one had a Smashbox shadow trio, The Balm instain Blush, Dior Overcurl mascara, that new Benefit tinted brow gel, 2 Nars velvet matte lip pencils, a Tarte palette (the last qvc holiday one) a Laura Mercier cake liner with the activator and a MAC 226 (one of my never used backups)

My mother in law got a Clarisonic and my mom got a bottle ofo Josie Maran Argan Oil and a brush set.
Needless to say I LOVE giving beauty gifts and look for any good reason to do so!
I gave Caroline two Sally Hansen nail polishes for her birthday.
When my daughter’s suitcase was stolen out of her car I went to Sephora with her and let her pick out as many replacements as she could find. That was quite a haul as it included her Dior skin care products as well. I sure earned a lot of points thought. 🙂
I got my mother in law the MAC pink lip and cheek bag for Christmas this past year, and I gave one of my girlfriends some NYX plumping gloss. Both were thrilled.

I often give make upa s gifts as they are always appreciated. My friend received an Estee Lauder lip gloss and a mac mineralize eyeshadow for a nice natural sheer look. She was happy!
I gave my sister a MAC Sheen Supreme LS in Can’t Resist! I think she hasn’t used it yet – she´s the kind of girl that wears whatever is in her bag at the moment until she runs out, so unlike me :D!
I bought Make Up Forever foundation for my mom for her birthday. Sad face – she didn’t like the color!
I work in a DV shelter so I took the young girls from our transition house to an ULTA an hour before they opened (thank goodness for a great store manager to pull that off) to shop for a new multi-purpose makeup palette and skincare products when ULTA had their 20% coupon event. Seeing their smiles and tears was worth every penny spent.
I gave the Viva Glam Rhianna lipstick and lip glass to my niece. I love supporting MAC’s AIDS Fund, but MAC lip products dry my lips out terribly. My niece, on the other hand, is a student on a tight budget who loves MAC. I get the pleasure of supporting a worthwhile cause; she gets the pleasure of receiving some beautiful products. Everyone comes out a winner 🙂
I had been raving about Seche Vite dry fast top coat to my coworker and found a mini bottle (i think it was $2) at Sally’s Beauty Supply and got it for her to try.

I gave my mom some Mac lipsticks and Marc Jacobs perfume set. Neither of which I see her use smh lol
C.O. Bigelow Chapped Hands Remedy to a couple coworkers. It’s a staple in my beauty closet and I always stock up when it’s on sale. Perfect for those frequent hand washers.
Today I gave a remaindered ELF lippie in rich red to a coworker who also used to work at Dollar Tree. She has mistaken some of the milani or elf lippies from there as MAC + Nars, so it’s kind of joke to us. For a buck, it looked great + brightened her day. For Xmas, I gave 2 coworkers Naked Basics palettes. One got Better Than Sex. The best one, i put together for a 75 y.o. friend, who has been very good to me. She got Bite lippies in Shiraz + Pepper, Tarte blush in Dazzled, and They’re Real. She loves the lippies most. Actually HATES They’re Real, saying it makes her lashes look like little sticks! She must need a thickening formula. Back to the drawing board. Her ex D-I-Ls and granddaughters think she looks fab + can’t figure out how she got such perfect shades or found such cool stuff!
I just gave my daughter 2 Korres Blushes too help build her blush collection. She just discovered she likes blush so I have so much more to give her.
Where are you sourcing Korres, now that Sephora is ditching them? Korres USA, at least used to, lead only to Sephora. Paula B highly recommends Korres blush + I have only one, to my great dismay. Please assist with where to get Korres now.
Last week I gave my Mom the Naked 3 palette and some Mac brushes – #239, 187, and the 217. No special occasion, just sharing. She treats me generously all year round too.

For Christmas I always get my Mother-in-Law the Estée Lauder blockbuster. Recently I have also given gifts of Christian Dior Creme Abricot Nail Cream and Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm, two favorites of mine.
I gave my cousin a BUNCH of false eyelashes and an eyeshadow quad from my trip to Japan!
For Christmas I gave my girlfriend the Naked 3 palette. She loves it. A lot more than I do. 🙂
This is such a happy thought for me: Just very recently I visited my childhood home and saw family. I gifted my mom with a make-over and everything used on her at her local MAC store. And then some 20 lipsticks among my mom and sister, while my little sis snagged a couple of blushes as well. I also gifted a dear “adopted” little sister with one of my two Riri Woos! It really felt good making these ladies happy and giddy! =)

I gave my sister Urban Decay’s Vice 2 palette for her birthday in November. And then for Christmas I gave my mom the Estée Lauder blockbuster and gave my sister the Urban Decay Black Market eyeliner set. They both loved them as far as I can tell. My mom and sister never really buy themselves higher end makeup products so I like to get them stuff whenever they seem interested in anything that either I own or that they see in store and mention liking it
