I got this in a set with the IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation and it is a wonderful, dense, effective brush. Even though the bristles are densely packed, the brush feels soft and not the least bit scratchy but it's the perfect tool for applying the foundation (hardly surprising since that's what it was designed for). While I've not tried this with liquid foundations, I would be willing to bet that it would work as well as any other flat topped brush for applying and blending liquid foundation. This brush is fairly pricey on its own but as I got it in a Showstopper (with 2 other brushes, the powder foundation and several other products), it was a steal!
