It’s got to be the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Cream Shadow in Ash. While the product line is not LE, the shade has been discontinued for a while. ><

The good news it that several brands have recently come out with promising formulations (I've tried pretty much everything else), like that Too Faced one. But I have yet to test those formulas or see if any of the available shades are appropriate.

I keep going back to WnW eye pencils, and have been using them for *years*. They’re horrible as liners, as they aren’t very pigmented, but that’s what makes them perfect for brows. Besides, since I need a black product, and noone else goes darker than espresso or charcoal, I don’t have many options… At least it’s inexpensive, readily available, and works! If I need to soften the brow for whatever reason, I just layer a black shadow over it, which also helps set it.

Gonna second this, I recently purchased it after running out of my Brow Wiz and wanting to try out a gel and this one blew them all out of the water for my purposes, very natural!

It’s also a lot easier to use than I expected, considering so many reviews had me worried.

I realised its getting quite oily by the end of the day and possibility to smudge or bleed off your brow! I think Mac brow gel that is LE is by far the best though wish you guys had tried those!

I didn´t tried any cream or gel formula yet!
I´ve been wanting to try Too Faced Bulletproof Brows, but I´m not certain if they do a great job.
I remember when MAC released those Fluidline Collection and I was very disappointed that the products were LE.
For brows, actually I´m using Brow FIx in Beguile or Charcoal Brown eyeshadow, both from MAC. But I´m really interested in try some cream/gel. I´m between Anastacia DipBrow Pomade and Too Faced Bulletproof, anyone could help me with sugestions?

Laura Mercier Brow Wax in warm. In comes in a tiny pot like a fluidline. it’s like creamliner and wax all in one. I love it because it doesn’t deposit too much colour and although its labeled “warm” its more cool toned in hue. There is no reddish brown or black in that pot!

I went out for my first brow gel last night, and I had no idea what to buy. Now you post this! haha

Luckily, I quite like what I ended up with: Benefit Gimme Brow. It’s quick and easy and me-proof (read: fool-proof).

I really loved Benefit’s Gimme Brow when I tried it a few months ago. Unfortunately I used it up pretty fast since that product is *tiny*!

Lately I’ve been liking a bolder brow so I’ve been using Urban Decay’s Brow Box in Brown Sugar. But once that’s used up (if I can wait that long…haha) I’m really looking forward to trying Anastasia’s Dipbrow Pomade!

MUFE Aqua Brow with a MAC 266. I have dark, thick brows, with some thin spots that I fill in so,= I don’t have to worry too much about how fine the lines I draw are. I like that it stays all day. I might try Anastasia’s new brow gel when I run out though.

Bibi Avatar

You’re right, Christine! That MAC is the best… I tried the paint pot formula but the pigmentation isn’t as strong. The MUFE aquabrow is technically waterproof but easily rubs away. I’m currently using the Anastasia dipbrow (horrible name) and it seems good but not *quite* as long-wearing as the brow fluidlines. Hopefully they’ll release a permanent collection? 🙂

Olivia Avatar

OMG you speak everything i want to say! MAC is the best so far, MUFE is easy to smudge and get oily, Anastasia is ok but not as good as MAC…well this all i’ve tried to so far… i’m thinking taste and too faced to try next

The two that come to mind are: Tarte Amazonian Clay BrowMousse (perfect match for my strawberry blonde hair) and Anastasia Dipbrow – I use blonde. The browmousse is thicker, but goes on very evenly and is very simple to use. Good for beginners with brow creams. The Anastasia dipbrow is verrrry creamy and took a couple uses for me to master – BUT because of the consistency you can make incredibly precise “hairs” so for someone that has to fill in her brows or you won’t see them – this product can make incredibly natural looking brows. Next favorite is the It! Cosmetics Universal Brow Power – it’s a pencil but its amazing. I keep it in my purse and use it daily. I looooove eyebrows.

I like Anastasia dipbrow in chocolate and auburn. I have used Mac brow gel and it wasn’t as easy for me to work with and the brown color was to dark and the auburn was to light even when I dyed my brows! Best for me so far.

I’ve been using a NARS powder (in Bali) for about 7 or 8 years now. Last week I picked up Anastasia’s Dipbrow after reading fantastic reviews. Let me tell you– it totally lives up to the hype!! It’s creamy and glides on really smoothly, can be applied lightly for a natural look or built up for something a little more dramatic, it stays in place (… it’s living up to the southern-Florida humidity test I’m putting it to this week), and doesn’t dry too quickly so any accidental over application can be corrected by brushing it through a few times with a spoolie. The only criticism is the lack of colours. Right now there are only five colours. There are more coming later this year (Fall 2014, I believe four more all in more taupe-y shades will join the brighter existing shades).

I really loved brow gel by “Prestige”, the one with two ends: one in colour and the other transparent, although I only used the colour one. Unfortunately, they stopped selling it in my country, so I need to seek it on the internet.

Currently, I have been using a brow pencil by “Yves Rocher”. Their “Cendré” (ashy) is a perfect shade if you have dark blond hair, or perhaps any medium dark hair with cool tones, it looks very natural (no orange at all) and lasts well.

I’ve mentioned MAC’s Fluidline Brow gel as my go to product for brows . I was lucky enough to get three jars before they were completely sold out. But after I ran out, I’ve been using MAC’s Dipdown and it does the job, but man I hope they bring back the Fluidline Brow gel.

As much as I don’t like recommending this company due to customer service issues, mine is Silk Naturals tinted brow wax. Not sure of the exact name. A friend gave it to me. You get a lot of product for the money & it works incredibly well, alone or with a powder product over top. It never gives you a ‘crazy brow lady’ look, stays put & keeps your brows in place. Totally waterproof as well. Not the most spectacular packaging, but it’s easy enough to scoop it out into something airtight.
