June Jacobs - Better Love Naturel Eau de Parfum Review
June Jacobs Better Love Naturel Eau de Parfum ($90.00)
For 2008, June Jacobs wants to go eco-friendly, and they reformulated their Better Love scent to be more “Naturel.” I hate to say it, but I would never wear this scent. I found it cloying, overly smoky with a heady mix of nutmeg, and just not something I would see myself wearing. I put it to the boyfriend-sniff-test, which evoked a response of, “It smells like old lady.” Since I’m 21, that is mostly definitely NOT the fragrance I want to keep on my shelves! Best part about it? The packaging is simple and elegant. Unfortunately, the scent just isn’t for me, but I would love to hear your thoughts on it if you’ve had the chance to check it out!
Notes include: Bergamot, Lemon, Mandarin, Rose, Jasmine, Pink Pepper, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Cream, Cedar, Musk, and Amber.
Hey Chistine,
Obviously i wud not like to buy it out coz also that u r giving such true comments regarding this very bottle and also that one shud always smell before buying purfumes and its not that cheap also.
Zzainy..
Definitely… perfume can be so personal! I agree that it’s also pricey.
My husband surprised me with a replacement bottle of Better Love. My bottle ran out several months ago. My local spa no longer stocked it, and he surprised me. The surprise was on us. I was certain it had a different fragrance than I remembered. It used to be irresistable, and now it is almost the opposite. So, I googled and learned the product changed. I hope they go back to the original. The old adage “If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it” stands true here.
