Giorgio Armani Eccentrico Face Palette Review, Photos, Swatches
Giorgio Armani Eccentrico Face Palette
Giorgio Armani Eccentrico Face Palette ($88.00 for 0.27 oz.) is an illuminating blush palette consisting of four shades: tangerine orange, coral-pink, lavender-pink, and iridescent white. Initially, it has a layer of gold shimmer, but it’s just an overspray and underneath, the colors are much darker and richer. It is also a lot less shimmery. Swirled together, the blush palette creates a hue of light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a pale golden sheen. Urban Decay Temper (LE) is cooler-toned, less shimmery. Chanel Inspiration (64) (P, $38.00) is a cream product, less shimmery. Tom Ford Beauty Frantic Pink (P, $55.00) is warmer. MAC Stunner (LE, $21.00) is warmer. MAC Legendary (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery, less pink. MAC Launch Away (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery. MAC Easy Manner (LE, $21.00) is less shimmery. Benefit Bella Bamba (P, $28.00) is darker. See comparison swatches.
The texture is incredibly soft and finely-milled, and to that point, it can get a little powdery. It doesn’t look powdery or caky when applied, and it is extremely easy to blend and diffuse on the skin. It didn’t emphasize pores or imperfections on the skin. The color payoff was good, and even on my medium complexion, there was plenty of visible color. Eccentrico wore well for eight hours, and then looked slightly faded after nine hours of wear. I only wish they hadn’t bothered with the overspray, since it doesn’t go all the way through and drastically different from the way the palette looks when you actually use it!

It looks great on you-
Thanks, Jill!
Although the final color is nice, I actually liked the colors on the overspray better! I don’t mind oversprays, but this one seems misleading!
Same – it’s TOO much of a difference!
Let me start by saying that your brows are to die for! Are you still using MAC Espresso in your brow routine? Anyway, I love how this illuminating blush make you look do radiant! I have already purchased the Chanel LE blush in Accent last week and told myself it’s the only blush I’ll get this Holiday season but then, I saw this post and now I’m torn. Do you think this will show on my MAC NC30 / Chanel B30 skin?
Hi Vanessa!
Yes, still using Espresso! 🙂
Yes, I think it would show up on NC30 skin – I am NC25/NC30!
That is so beautiful. Argh! I think I *need* it. (not that my husband agrees with the notion of “needing”” any make-up)
Do you have any images where you’ve scratched through the overspray? No worries if you haven’t- you work hard enough! Thanks Christine.
It’s the seventh photo in the post! xo
Oh wow. I thought at first it’s a finishing powder. Kinda like pressed Meteorites. But beneath the overspray it looks a blush!
Christine, are photos #8 and #9 swatches with or without the overspray? I’m very fair, so I was actually a little let down by the huge difference. 🙁 I thought it was going to be a nice highlighter.
Without!
Freaking awesome it is and Christine how gorgeous you are looking …
m blown away with color in pan and on cheeks
Thank you so much, Rashmi!
Wow this looks so amazing on you! (: I would love to try it but the color just does not suit my skin tone
Aww, too bad! At least it’s good news for your wallet!
OHHH This is stunning !! I really like, no, LOVE how all the shades swirled together look. Lovely <3
I agree with you about the overspray as it misleads the perception of how the colour is going to be when it's applied.. I thought it would be very pale, but it was apparently not that light on your swatch, which is a good news !
Thank you for sharing 🙂
It seemed like, “ooh, highlighter,” and then, “no, bush.”
Pretty with capital P and seven hundred exclamation marks!!! 🙂
Haha! 🙂
Hey 🙂
Do you think this will suit skin tones that are really yellow/olive? I have a hard time finding pink shades that suit my yellow skin tone and I have a million different shades of peach blushes so trying to branch out into more pinks and pinky corals.
Yes, I think so! The pink and the orange are warmer, so it won’t run too cool on you!
That is super pretty, I wonder if the color would show on NC 50.
My guess is lightly – have you tried any of the dupes listed?
This looks really cool in the pan. I don’t know that it’s really that special or unique swatched though
There are definitely a fair number of possible dupes!
What a misleading product! I thought for sure it was going to be a beautiful highlighter. =\ Still pretty though!
I know – the downside of oversprays!
I didn’t like it with the overspay but without? I’m dying. That is gorgeous.
It looks SO different without the overspray!
What a gorgeous palette! 🙂
Glad you liked it, Precious!
I more than like it actually. Haha! I have most of the dupes that you mentioned, but I think I “need” this. 😀
I’m so glad all that shimmer is just overspray! I was thinking there’s no way I’d want this one, but now I’m changing my mind 😉
It looked super metallic initially in the pan!
Well, that is different from what I expected it to be. With the overspray gone, the description of an illuminating blush makes much more sense. Pretty color that totally brightens up your face. I love it, but $88 to pay for this is a little steep, and I’m used to paying premiums! It is, after all, just another glowy pink blush!
It does – I totally expected it to be a highlighter from the initial look of it!
Very pretty! I’m always a little leery about shimmers and such, but I love the look of this.
Yeah, it looked like frost overload initially but definitely not the case.
Why bother with an overpay as it masks the true colour? Really nice colour but I don’t think it large enough to justify the $88US price tag to be able to use all those shade separately as well as together.
I don’t know why companies do it 🙁
OH GOD I WANT IT. *checks price* OH GOD I NEED A JOB.
Aww!
That overspray is crazy O_O It looks like a highlighter/finishing powder like a more shimmery Meteorites but it’s a blush. Overspray overkill!
Agreed!
I think they could have just used overspray to highlight around the edges of the shapes and it would have looked good but shown off the true colours better. Maybe it was to make it look more ‘wintery’ :S
That is so confusing to have that darker pink shade be under the light peachy shade!! I don’t understand why they would do that at all… it’s like with their Fall collection but I think I am more forgiving to eyeshadows than blush. :-\
LOL! I’m the opposite – I’ve seen it more often with blushes so I’m not totally surprised but so rare on an eyeshadow!
I totally understand!! Now that i think about it, I like this better than their glitter overspray they had for last year’s holiday palettes. I am such a weirdo where I don’t want to “waste” the beautiful glitters, at the same time i don’t have many occasions to wear glitter LOL so it ends up sitting on my vanity for a looonnnngggg time unused
I saw a promo for this product and thought it was a highlighting powder.. how bizarre with the overspray. The final product is very pretty on you, but largely dupeable. Not something I would reach for.
Wish the overspray was more delicate or at least less misleading.
I am disappointed that this is not an amazing highlighter…I don’t think I would pay $88.00 for a blush.
Aww! Too bad!
Oh, that is gorgeous. But $88..
Yeah, Giorgio Armani makes lovely powders but they break the bank!
I thought these were two different products at first! Kind of strange – but this does look beautiful on you, Christine!
I was totally surprised at how much richer the actual palette was!
Oh, man. I want to say that the overspray on this one is ridiculous, but it’s SO pretty! D:
If only it stayed that way… or maybe a little less frosted but still pale!
This is really beautiful!
Glad you liked it! 🙂
The swatch looks really close to Nars Torrid or Nars Deep Throat. Are they possible dupes as well, or are they completely dissimilar? It’s hard to tell on a screen. LOL
Closer to Deep Throat than Torrid, but warmer either way!
While I love the look, the overspray if totally annoying. On any product. I much prefer products that are “what you see is what you get.” Off my gripe box. (sorry)
That over spray is very misleading isn’t it? I find it is rather similar to Maui by Bobbi Brown.
I must add Christine, you are looking lovely in all your photos, marriage definitely becomes you 😀
Thanks, Monica!
I thought it was going to be some sort of beautiful iridescent highlighter… I hate oversprays.
This is a blush?! It is supposed to cost 80 EURO!! in Germany. 110 USD. I am one of the greatest Armani Fand around but at this price point – I PASS. Sigh.
(It was announced as a highlighting powder, something like Guerlians Meteorite…)
I tried to find your Chanel Lip Product but no luck, can you point me in the right direction? Maybe a link to the product?

Thank you! I was (almost) hoping it was limited edition so I dont buy it. Such an enabler. LOL
Oh, wow, it completely transforms! The overspray must be crazy light-reflecting!
Thank you so much for adding a picture without the overspray ! It must have taken you a lot of time to remove it very thoroughly.
Hoping you’ll be able to do that again.
It’s a very useful for us, as it plays on the buy/not buy decision.
It’s really quick, I promise 🙂 Just take a giant powder brush and go to town for about 20-30 seconds!
That was smart :).
Again a big thank you for being so close to your readers requests and offering us such a valuable source of MU information.
My pleasure 🙂
Hey Christine, is Tom Ford wicked a good dupe for this one?
Tom Ford Wicked is darker and cooler-toned!
