Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I am always amazed at how many reviews you do…and the quality of each one. Thank you! I bought the Vice 2 and would’t have been able to make a quick decision without your posts!

As good as most of these palettes look, I’m not even tempted b/c I think i got enough eye pencils, shadows and what-nots that I can almost always find a dupe of whatever that’s tempting me (or at least half the things I get look similar on me). And almost a bummer that I don’t have any friends really into makeup that I can buy some of these sets for them 😉
PS–you must have naturally amazing skin or a great regimen (or a combo of both) to look so good, with all the testing you do

Chelsea- UD Facebook page they said the end of sept for Sephora release. HTH!

Christine- Thanks as always for the quick detailed reviews! VICE palette checked off list! Ocho loco 2 is next once the $ become available 🙂

I am in dire need of a no-buy for more than 24 hours. In any case, I ordered the Vice 2 palette from Urban Decay this morning. I love UD! They have fast become my favorite brand.

No, you aren’t.

While I still appreciate the amazing value for the products, nowadays there are two things that keep holding me back from indulging:

1. The glittery shades. Too many of them, too much fall out. The Anarchy face case totally appealed to me, until I saw that there were a bunch of glitter shades in there. I’m in my early thirties now. I still like wearing color, but walking around the office with glitter on my face (even with using a tackier base) is just ridiculous.

2. Too many similarities between what they put into their LE palettes and what are in the main line. They may not be dupes, but they’re close enough that you can probably find something close enough to not feel so bad about missing out. The longer you’re around the more you see this.

That said, sometimes the new LE stuff does give you an idea of what to check out in the main line and I think I’m going to selectively add stuff to my stash instead 🙂

I agree with you completely! I am 32 and hate glitter fallout! I feel like a kid on Halloween lol. I also agree that some of the new shades are close to shades in their permanent line. I was hoping for a 24-7 shadow liner set or a set of mini revolution lipsticks to try out different shades! I bought Obsessed which is the perfect pink for everyday and now I can’t wait to try more colours! 🙂 I also wish all future palettes would come with Perversion instead of Zero liners cause I am obsessed with Perversion!!
Lol

i think ill be getting the ocho loco 2 and the vice 2 🙂 im glad the face palettes didnt interest me because my wishlist is getting out of control even without these new editions lol

This collection is a big pass for me. Too much glitter for my tastes in the face palettes, while Vice 2 has too many dark-toned and warm shades to make it something I’d get much use from.

From above 🙂 Since it’s now the next day, everything IS launched now on urbandecay.com!

I’m glad you did all of the urban decay. Two things, one when does the sephora vib sale start and now that there is a vib rouge I wonder will there be a separate sale for them. Also tarte has there holiday set up on sephora.com and on tarte’s site, when will you be able to review them??
