Bobbi Brown Baby Pink & Berry Lip Colors Reviews, Photos, Swatches
Bobbi Brown Baby Pink Lip Color
Bobbi Brown Baby Pink Lip Color ($25.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a light-medium, pink beige with subtle warm undertones and a soft, pearly finish–not a satin but not a full-on frost. It had mostly opaque color coverage with a lightly creamy consistency that glided across lips without pulling or tugging. This shade lasted well for four hours. Flower Beauty Petal Kiss is pinker, more matte. Giorgio Armani Blush is pinker, less shimmery. Guerlain Mitsouko is sheerer. Chanel Gardenia is slightly pinker. Make Up For Ever #4 is darker, pinker, matte. See comparison swatches.
Bobbi Brown Berry Lip Color ($25.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a raspberry pink with cool undertones and a luminous finish. It had very nearly opaque color but was just the slightest bit translucent–it kept it from looking too heavy on the lip. The color applied evenly and smoothly without dragging across the lip as the consistency was nicely creamy. It lasted six hours well without drying my lips out. Chanel Esprit is redder. Urban Decay Catfight is brighter. Chanel Suspense is similar. Chanel Fiction is slightly redder. Revlon Sorbet is a touch pinker. See comparison swatches.

Both shades look lovely on you, but for fall I think I like Berry more.
I like the baby pink, but I don’t love the color on you because it isn’t vibrant enough for your coloring. I wonder if it might not be interesting to have a fairer model and you and show the differences when you apply products — like a side by side. I like the berry on you better, but I think I might like coral colors a bit better for you. Thanks for posting.
Temptalia is just written by one person ๐ We are not successful enough to start hiring models full-time (or even part-time, lol)! Really sorry, Tina!
Wow. I like the color on you and I actually think you have a great skin tone for blogging. Or course, anyone can blog. But your skin tone is so versatile. You can pull off lighter colors and yet your skin tone prevents you from being overwhelmed by deeper colors. Having said that, there definitely have been times when I think some things just don’t flatter you, because no one looks good in everything.
Thank you, Liz! ๐
Hah, while you’re hiring people Christine, get an assortment of models with darker skin too ๐
If I didn’t live in Japan right now, I would model for free! ๐
I like that your complexion is in the medium range not too light or too dark. I think most of us can get a fair assessment of the colors you model.
Thank you, Denise! ๐
Berry looks like something I’d really enjoy! Glad to hear it lasts 6 hours as well! Gotta check it out ๐
Both shades look great, but Berry is calling my name right now since it’s autumn!
Berry actually reminds me quite a bit of MAC Craving. it’s got just a bit of a plummy quality to it that I really like.
Love both!
I already have Chanel Gardenia and Chanel Suspense, so I guess Iยดll pass on this, but the berry is pretty ๐ .
I love both shades on you, Christine! Personally, I’m more attracted to Berry. ๐
Your skin looks amazing in both of these shots. Of course not every color will be a good match, but one of my favorite things about you is that whether a color is flattering on your or not, you always smile like you own it. I love that. Frankly, I should do more of that. This project? Yeah, it sucks, but I’m going to smile like I own it because there’s just no point in being miserable.
Thank you so much, Chynna! ๐
