Round-up: MAC Indulge Collection

MAC Indulge Collection

Round-up in case you missed a post! 🙂  My personal favorites were Divine Decadence eyeshadow and Lust for Life Lipglass.  What were yours?

Reviews, Photos, Swatches

P.S. — The collection may be partially sold out on MAC’s website, but it’s still to release at other retailers like Nordstrom, Macy’s, etc. online and in-store.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Christine, I may have missed it somewhere in your reviews but are any of these repromotes from the Eat, Cook (or whatever it was called) collection? The names of some of the products sound like they might have come from that collection but that’s just “names”.

Blah blah blah. That’s what I think of MAC collections lately. I used to adore MAC But it is soo unexciting and repetitive. When I realised that MAC churned out rubbish to sell to the frenzied consumer because it was limited edition I started branching out to other brands like Nars, Chanel, YSL Giorgio Armani and so many others. Buying make up is so much fun again. ( oh btw the two red lip glasses in this collection are standouts)

I really like the colors in this collection. I do agree though – they push out way too many of these LE collections so it seems old and boring. Just when I get a new piece or two of a LE collection there is another one already on the horizon. Too much, too fast – can’t keep up. Although this one seems to have at least mostly good quality. Christine usually finds quite a few stinkers per collection.

I just received my order. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed the lipglasses have been shorted on the fragrance. The ones I’m referring to are Fashion Punch and Liquer. This is the 2nd time this has happened to me where they smell pretty foul. The smell lingers and doesn’t fade with wear. Has anyone else had this problem or is just me?

I actually like the fact that MAC does limited collections like these as I like the creative aspect and the chance at getting new colors. The frequency may seem frenetic to some, but I like always being able to buy something new. I especially love the cute collections like the Hello Kitty and Archie’s Girls. I adored the packaging from them, so I wish they would do more character or comic based ones =) I’m not sure about most people here, but I already own a good portion of the permanent line (at least MOST of the products I’ve wanted that work for me or go good in my makeup kit), so I like the new colors that are released in each line. You aren’t obligated to buy anything from their collections, so I really don’t understand all the complaining. Nobody anywhere is going to own everything single thing from every single limited edition collection EVER.
