Sonia Kashuk Eyeshadow Duo: Secret Admirer Review, Photos, Swatches
Sonia Kashuk Eyeshadow Duo: Secret Admirer
Sonia Kashuk Secret Admirer Eyeshadow Duo ($6.99) is a stunning duo of shimmery violet-lilac and a softer, matte pale lilac. Both shades run cool, but with the right pairing of warmer or more neutral shades, can easily be worn by most. I’ve always found Sonia Kashuk to be a brand that is reliable and affordable, and this eyeshadow duo lives up to that expectation. Both shades are well pigmented and don’t require lots of layering to get color pay off. Big thumbs up for eyeshadow on a budget!

I don’t really like how the matte looks :/
Though the shimery one is gorgeous
Aww, guess this one isn’t for you 😛
indeed ^^
anyway i don’t think i would be able to find those here so i’m quite happy ^^
I love purple eyeshadow and I always go gaga over them. It is one of the first non-neutral colours I started playing with besides green.
Aww, fun fun! Fave purples?
I like matte colors, but I think they only look good with some colors, such as neutral ones, black, some greens, and navy (MAC deep truth has very minimal sheen, looks almost matte). Light purple and blues can look chalky sometimes, which is what the pale lilac looks like. Needs some shimmer to add oomph! I LOVE shimmery violet-lilac color! Dang, so affordable too! ;D
lol, now the Sonia Kashuk line needs to include a brush (NOT a sponge one, but an actual bristle one) WITH their e/s duos (and charge a little extra). That would make this it so much more convenient and portable, in case for touching up. You might need more of the shimmery e/s for transitioning a day to night look! Plus, sonia kashuk brushes are great for their price!!!
I agree that sometimes colors can be chalky, but I didn’t get that (personally!) from this purple – it was just matte to me 🙂
No biggie on the brush for me – I’d rather pay less and skip the brush, LOL! I’d *never* use it myself, to be honest. They’re just never good enough to use (always scratchy!).
oooo these look rather nice 🙂
Glad you like, Christine!
i got this duo…and to be HONEST..not pigmented at all. the least pigmented eyeshadow i’ve bought in a long time and you can’t return makeup at Target. boo..
if you still have your recipt and it hasnt been 90 days since you got it you can return anything… even if you dont have you recipt, they can look it up if you pay with some kind of debit or credit card.
thanks for the heads up..the colors are pretty but if there not that pigment then why buy u know
I’m really sorry to hear that yours didn’t work out 🙁 It was pigmented just fine for me…
it looks like the shades in the new MAC collection, the purple palette ones. Can’t remember the name. I think it’s the In the Gallery palette.
BUT BETTER! lol!
i got a quad from sonia and it’s not all that pigmented, so i’ve stayed away from buying more
Which quad? I just got one that blew me away!
Wow, these look pretty damn great for seven bucks!
That’s how I felt!
