Dior Bahia Vernis Duo ($29.00 for 2 x 0.23 fl. oz.) is a duo of polishes that is described as a “deep lagoon blue” and “hibiscus pink.” Both bottles are slightly smaller (about one-third less of the size — 0.34 fl oz. vs. 0.23 fl. oz.) of full-size Dior polishes.

Bahia (792) is a medium-dark, muted blue with a cream-jelly finish. It was mostly opaque after two coats, but there was some visible nail line coming through. The finish seemed almost jelly-like in some ways. The polish’s consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, so I didn’t have issues with it pooling along the edges, and it applied fairly well. Illamasqua Muse is darker, less blue. Zoya Breezi is slightly darker, more pigmented. See comparison swatches.

Bahia (667) is a bright, medium pink with cool undertones. This shade was opaque after applying two coats, and the consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin. OCC Palare is more shimmery. NARS Ratin Jot is a bit darker. L’Oreal Members Only is darker. China Glaze Escaping Reality is warmer. China Glaze Beach Cruise-r is cooler. Zoya Lara is slightly darker. See comparison swatches.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

I’d classify something only 1/3 of the size of normal as more than just “slightly” smaller – I remember seeing these in store and doing a double take. These bottles are tiny!

I don’t necessarily mind mini-size bottles of nail polish, but the price should drop to reflect that small amount. and I don’t think it has dropped enough for my taste. The colors (especially the blue) are pretty, but not unique enough to justify spending $30 on 2/3s of a bottle of nail polish.
