yours 🙂

no seriously, I like to look at every kind of makeup, but most of the time, when I look at a makeup, it’s because it’s interesting and I’d like to try it on me :p

But I do have a thing for artistic makeups

I tend to look for dramatic (fits my style)
I can’t really understand the whole thing about naturals… I find it stupid to put make up on if it’s to look like “I don’t wear make up” naturals… I find this a total waste of time and make up. There are so many things you can do with make up why just waste some on naturals really… If you want to look natural then don’t put make up on really…

But that’s just my honest opinion 🙂

I totally agree with you. I will never understand putting so much effort to do a natural style, lets take all this time to make it look like I am not wearing makeup yet I actually am. My natural style is NO makeup. I prefer more dramatic styles because not only are they more fun to do but I love the looks.

I’m happy to see i’m not the only one thinking this way. Sometimes people are just here almost saying i’m insane not to love neutrals…

Kajsa Avatar

I agree too. As dramatic as possible, that’s the only way I rock 😀
I’ve tried using natural colors, but feel it looks too naked, so I make it into a smokey eye in brown tones ^_^

Colorful, bold and dramatic. I don’t really like looking at neutral/natural looks, because honestly that to me is kind of universal and I can put something like that together off-the cuff. I need inspration for my more bold FOTDs and looks though! I also like looking at really obscure/artistic stuff but have trouble finding a way to ever incorporate that into my life lol.

I love dramatic and natural evenly. Although I do a lot of natural for my job and lots of smoky eyes for going out on the weekends.

It’s so hard to choose. I love natural looks (not a no makeup look, my version of natural is browns on the eyes, but defined — a peachy blush and shimmery lipcolor). But I also love a dramatic smokey eye. I definately don’t get too crazy because I’m in my mid 30’s and I don’t want to look ridiculous for my age 🙂

I love looking at bold, bright, and artistic looks. Those are the ones I enjoy doing the most as well. 🙂 Christine, your looks are always great, and I’ve attempted to dupe your looks many times! Also, I love looking at Padmita’s blog – she is such an artist when it comes to makeup!! I don’t think I could ever dupe hers (or be brave enough to wear them out), but they’re so fun to look at!

I do like looking at avant garde because it’s the makeup’s version of haute couture. You can’t wear it on normal work day (unless you work for MAC =)) but it is always very interesting and I get inspired by it sometimes. If I see a great magenta or purple eye that I could never wear I could find it as a lipstick or gloss and wear it as a subtle stain on my lips.

Also, natural is great too because I am always looking for the easy 5-10mn face ideas!

i love looking at all kinds of dramatic looks, whether i actually wear them or not! however lately i’ve been looking at ‘natural’ looks as i prepare for my wedding.

def avante garde…i love to see what people come up with…its the most interesting kind of makeup to look @, even if its done with just 2 or 3 colors, the placement and lines are usually very interesting, and using an entire face vs just eyes is always always fun

Dramatic and colorful.

Not to say I don’t like more neutral colors.

But for me, natural make up is what I do just to make myself presentable to the world and I get bored with it, I like to play! 🙂

Dramatic! If I want to look natural, I go natural and just don’t wear makeup. For me, makeup is definitely not used to look ‘pretty’, because I don’t feel that people need makeup to look pretty. Makeup is for fun! I wear makeup daily, but I enjoy putting it on, and I enjoy playing with colors. I hate the idea that some people have that you need makeup to ‘look decent’. If that is why you are wearing makeup, you need to reevaluate. 🙂

i like all makeup and ideas neutral right theough to dramatic and all the down right OTT styles are cool.

in regards to actual products. face – blush, foundation, powders, BLUSH! MSF (and similar prodcuts) and LIPS for sure, lipstick and gloss etc. i like new eyeliner ideas too – new ideas on how to jazz up ur eyeliner whether it be everyday or Spec.O. i think a bit of fun could be had with that ( adding dots or 2 flicks instead of one) idk….im rambling hahaha.
