50% off Select Le Metier de Beaute Products at Saks

Le Metier de Beaute has several products/shades that have been marked down 50% off at Saks.  It has certainly raised my curiosity about the brand’s future, though some color products are not discounted at all, and some shades within formulas aren’t discounted either.  I noticed skincare isn’t discounted at all.  Well, if you ever were curious, my top picks would be eyeshadow, blush, and Lip Cremes.

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Thanks for the heads up, Christine! I picked up the bronzer that was on sale. Would have bought more but I did some damage at the Rescue Beauty Lounge 50% off sale today. LOL

Do you mean you swore off buy from RBL specifically? And if so, do you mind saying why? I did grab a few sale colors, but I was actually excited to try the base and top coats (regular and matte) because I won’t pay $20 each for them normally. I kind of hope they’re good….and I kind of hope they’re not HG so I don’t talk myself into paying full price next time. LOL

I have so many polishes to review, and at $20 a pop plus often selling out by the time I receive my order and review it (or shortly after, since almost nothing is permanent)… it’s just not a good use of my review budget for the blog. Coupled with the fact that I’ve been more and more disappointed with quality/color over the past year personally, I’m really trying not to buy any more. Generally, they haven’t been terrible or anything, but they’re not anywhere near as unique or ground-breaking as they used to be. Maybe it’s just that there is so much competition in the nail industry or that there are so many indies to choose from these days! There’s also been some brand drama that pops up every now and again, which is a turn off as a customer. But in terms of customer service/receiving my orders, I’ve never had a problem – always received everything fairly timely, well-packaged, and I never had to call or email as nothing went wrong. There are a lot of nice colors, and there’s definitely a reason why it has a very loyal following – I’m sure you will enjoy the ones you bought!

Most of my RBLs came from when they did a 50% off sale a few years ago, aside from any of the newer released ones since then. At $10, certainly worth it 🙂

Unfortunately everything I want from them are either out of stock or not discounted. Nordstrom still carry the majority of their products, so perhaps Saks is just stopping carrying certain products? If you know anything, please update us!

Aw bummer, I would have totally bought some stuff if this sale was happening at Nordstrom! I’m not a huge fan of buying from Saks (and Nordstrom is just generally better, what with the free shipping) so hopefully the sale will carry over to there if they’re repackaging or something!

I surmise that Saks is going to discontinue the brand…not so much that Le Metier is going out of business. I have bought many makeup products from Saks in my life time where Saks promotes it there first and then no longer sells it. MUFE was sold at Saks first. So was Anna Sui. I always have my first love when the makeup company comes out…then I jump onto the next brand….so I remember my first visit at the store for that cosmetic company even if it was more than 15 years ago.
