5 Yellow-Orange Eyeshadows for Summer
It used to be hard to find a more yellow-based orange (most of the orange-hued eyeshadows would have a strong red base), but now, there is more variety than other. I think that yellow-toned oranges can sometimes be easier to wear if you’re new to orange eyeshadow! Here are some of my current favorites:
- Burberry Shell — a shimmery, golden orange
- ColourPop Sunnies — a pop of yellowed orange with a satin finish
- Makeup Geek Chickadee — a yellowed, medium orange with a matte finish
- OCC Mimosa — a shimmering tangerine
- Milani Bella Mandarin — a muted, yellowed orange
I want the ColourPop one.
It’s a bright, fun shade!
Sunnies is one of the first ColourPop shadows I bought and the only one I’ve hit pan on. Love it!!

I like the color of Burberry Shell. I might be able to pull it off.

I was so surprised by how wearable Chickadee is. I use it far more often than I thought I would!
Right? It’s like an amped neutral but very wearable!
Love these. These kinds of shades are sorely lacking in my collection. I’m wearing MUFE Tangerine on my lower lid today. I want Mimosa, and ColourPop Sunnies.
I love that the yellower oranges are becoming more popular!
So do I. They’re so cheery. I can’t wear them on my lips, but they look great on the eyes. 🙂
Although I can’t wear yellow or tangerine like these colours – they do look lovely. And on the right complexion they would be beautiful.
Do you feel like you can wear more orange-y reds?
OCC Mimosa is in my Sephora cart atm, but only after finding out that it does have clear plastic with powder holes, so even if my utterly nutty 28 lb. Maine Coon Cat, Scunci pounced up onto my makeup area, it would probably stay safe? He has a thing for my bathroom sink…he NAPS IN IT!!! LoL!!!

Scunci is truly a majestic, regal cat with tons of personality! I really love this enormous fluffball! Nothing I do do with makeup compares to his resplendent natural beauty.
I believe it. We look up to them, not the way around. Their beauty and essence is just ineffable, humbling, and breathtaking.
I love I orange. These are all beautiful picks! Wow, great job! I have none of these! 🙂 But I have many MAC & UD oranges from days past… And sone other oddities I’ve picked up throughout my life which work well! 🙂 Modster has a great one, too. ColourPop really seems to be nailing it! <3
