5 Shades of Aqua Eyeshadow
5 Shades of Aqua Eyeshadow
It’s hard to find a really awesome aqua eyeshadow, because aqua tends to be a lighter color–almost pastel–that they can be sheer and/or chalky (or just powdery). Sometimes they lean blue, other times they lean green. Â I wouldn’t call this the best of aqua, because there are many more aqua shades I’ve swatched!
- Bare Escentuals Illusion is a pale aqua blue
- Inglot #345 is a pale aqua green
- MAC Aqua is an aqua green
- Milani Caribbean Sea is light-medium aqua blue
- Giorgio Armani Airy Jade is an ultra pale, frosted aqua blue
That Inglot shadow looks like such a great colour! I really need to look into getting my hands on some of their products.
I like Urban Decay Minx. I used it on a model in one of my Makeup Breakdowns: http://themakeuptrain.com/2011/08/19/makeup-breakdowns-jessica-ostrow/
Is MAC Aqua an older or pro color?
PRO!
I agree with Jenn!!! That Inglot color looks super!
Illamasqua Bedaub cream pigment! It’s difficult to use without primer but it’s so striking
I love Aqua eyes! Avon’s had some surprisingly good aqua shades.
I have the BE Illusion, and I really like the color. I would love to try the GA color, too!
That Inglot one looks exactly like the Majolica Majorca sea foam green eyeshadow I recently purchased. That is a great Korean or Japanese brand? And the eyeshadow cost something like six bucks
My fave aqua eyeshadows are LM mermaid and LM baked shadow aquamarine.
Bought Molton Brown’s light blue- aqua single shadow years ago….looks like BE Illusion.
