Reader Sylirael asked if I had done a post on aqua eyeshadows, and the last time I did one was back in ’11, so I thought three years later might be a good time to update my top five!

  1. Giorgio Armani #10 — a metallic, aqua-blue
  2. Sugarpill Mochi — a muted, aqua blue with a satin finish
  3. Inglot #345 — a minty, aqua green with a matte finish
  4. Make Up For Ever #93 — a bold, bright aqua-green
  5. Urban Decay Shattered — a gold-shimmered, muted aqua blue

I can’t wear aqua near my face so I’m not going to try the color as any eyeshadow. The ones featured sure are tempting though.

I love the look of aqua eyeshadows and would wear them if only I wasn’t so inept at applying and combining colors. Would like to know how you wear them? Thanks 🙂

All the shades are so refreshing.. Mint green is one of my fav during summers.. I doesn’t have any such color in my bag.. might start with INGLOT.. but Giorgio and UD are really amazing shades..:)
