5 Rich Copper Eyeshadows
5 Rich Copper Eyeshadows
Not orange, not brown, but some kind of magical mix of the two with a little bronze thrown in. Copper is typically accompanied by a more frosted and/or metallic finish. It’s nearly always very, very warm in undertone, but if you need to cool down, try pairing it with a violet or blue.
- Make Up For Ever #12 — creamy, rich copper with a metallic finish
- NARS Isolde — two shades of coppery browns
- MAC Amber Lights — rich, metallic copper with a strong golden-copper shimmer
- Giorgio Armani #5 — darkened coppery brown with a metallic finish
- Inglot #405 — metallic copper
It WAS Urban Decay Baked but since the whole China thing I will have to find a dupe when I hit pan.
I don’t go out of my way to buy copper eyeshadows, but I do have several that have been included in palettes. It’s not a color I wear often, so I can’t say I have a “favorite”. Back when my hair was it’s natural dark auburn color, I did wear it more often, but now that I keep my hair black or dark brown, I find I don’t reach for it very often. I think it’s really pretty with a red lip, though.
Wow, NARS Isolde’s two shades are pretty similar! When I was scrolling by fairly quickly they almost looked the same.
MAC Amber Lights is definitely my favourite, it’s so rich and vibrant! I actually discovered the shade thanks to your blog and it’s now a staple for me 🙂 NARS Isolde looks great, thanks for providing such a great source of makeup inspiration!
Chopper and Baked by Urban Decay are amazing.
To me, NARS Isolde has two different shades in person. They’re not the same…
I love the L’Oreal HIP duo–I believe the name is called Charged. So amazing!
Nars Isolde is my favourite. The colours are more different in real life then they appear from that picture, though they are more similar than most Nars pairings. However I don’t think this is a bad thing because it can be used for multidimensional effects.
