5-Minute Makeup: Easy Neutrals

5-Minute Makeup:  Easy Neutrals

Yeah, yeah!  Another neutral look!  What of it? 🙂  No, but seriously, I had some furious lip swatching to do today, and I always want to have some makeup on but nothing that would skew the lip color, so I tend to lean on the neutral side.  This is a great quick neutral look that works for most occasions.

What’s the best part about your Tuesday so far? For me, it was playing around with some NARS blushes… which are gorgeous!

You will need the following…

For eyes, start by applying Smudgeproof as your eyeshadow base all over the eye area with the 249. Using the 239, apply Dazzlelight eyeshadow on the inner half of the lid. Apply Soba eyeshadow on the outer half of the lid, then lightly blend Wedge eyeshadow in the outer crease and very outer edge of the lid with the 226. Blend Grain eyeshadow with the crease shade and highlight the brow bone . Bring everything together by applying Underground liner on the lower lash line. Finish by sweeping lashes with Plushlash mascara.

For cheeks, apply Oasis blush on the apples of the cheeks and smooth with fingertips.

For lips, apply Oasis lipgloss for a complementing lip.

What a stunning look. And one of my total favourites most certainly. I was just paging through your eye make-up tutorials and I noticed how your brow shape has changed over time. I must add that I love the present fuller brow, and also say that I am a tad jealous too…. Being a blonde, I was not blessed with great brows so I envy those who do have ’em!

My favorite of any look you’ve ever done, I like that this is polished and pretty looking and does not look too heavy or fussy 🙂 I think this could be flattering on pretty much anyone with the colors you picked (also, Oasis is totally on my wishlist now)

So pretty. I thank you for your 5mn neutral eye looks. This type of nude eye is pretty much my go-to look for work when I don’t really feel like spending all my time blending colors. I am loving the blush/lip combo

Christine, I don’t know if the NARS blush you’re wearing in the picture is one you were playing with earlier, but that’s one of the prettiest blushes I’ve seen you wear. I usually skip to the full face photo before reading the post and the blush instantly caught my eye. Really flattering!

Absolutely gorgeous I must say this is the best neutral look you have done because it really is neutral and brings out the natural beauty of your eyes.

Hi Anita,

I don’t use anything other than sunglasses and wear SPF everyday (which I didn’t start doing until I was probably 19 or 20!). Aging can often have to do with genetics, so even the most careful, well-meaning people may end up with more visible signs than those who do nothing! Like for instance, my mom never wears makeup, doesn’t have much of a skincare routine, rarely wears SPF or sunglasses… so little lines!

And obviously, you look STUNNING!
I don’t have many e/s from the list, but i think i can wear my TEMPTING CHOCOLATE pallete (Givenchy)
