5 Luminous Blushes for Spring
I love a blush that has a luminous finish–a little more than satin, but it doesn’t get too frosted once applied. It’s the kind of finish that gives the skin a glowy look as you buff and blend the color onto the cheeks. Here are some of my favorites for spring:
- MAC I’m a Lover — a cool-toned pink with a satin finish
- Charlotte Tilbury Love Glow — a gold-shimmered medium pink
- IT Cosmetics Radiant in Rose — a rich raspberry pink
- MAC Make You Mind — a muted, copper-brown with a satin finish
- Clinique Peach Pop — a luminous coral-pink
I just got my hands on Chanel’s Malice and love it! My first Chanel blush and I am so happy it turned out to be great texture wise! 🙂
I keep meaning to get that one, but there are too many new things to buy!
Peach Pop is just suuuuuch a cute shade! My favorite form all the Cheek Pop blushes.
It’s so lovely!
Own and love Clinique Peach Pop and Mac Make You Mind is beautiful.
I was so sad that I didn’t see more Cheek Pops for spring this year, lol!
Me Too!
Very pretty. I’d also add MAC Springsheen.
Great pick, Liz!
Ohhhh I’d love to try the Charlotte Tilbury one or the Clinique blush. Those both look like they’d be good for my skin tone. I also love a good luminous blush, as my skin tends to look very dry with any other finish.
The finish on her blushes is really nice! Most of them are more luminous than not.
I keep telling myself that I don’t need Clinique Peach Pop because I have so many coral blushes but then you keep recommending it in your lists and the swatches keep popping up and my wallet is going to be very sad soon. D=
You have to at least swatch it! 😀
Oh my, I can see the luminous sheen on the Charlotte Tilbury one, and of course. it’s also the most expensive! And the Clinique flower design is so pretty, so spring-like…..
Both have great finishes and are nice for spring!
I absolutely love my Charlotte Tilbury Love Glow! Excellent formula, finish and colour! She did an amazing job with her entire makeup line!
The finish on it is lovely!
I love both the cheek pops I have (plum and peach). The formula is amazing and I really wish Clinique would release more cheek pops in more colors.
Hooray for Peach Pop! ^_^ I’ve been re-investigating Benefit Dandelion myself recently. Someday I’d love to have one of the CT blshes 🙂
Hi Christine,
For me ginger pop, make you mine, devil and modern mandarin …
These are the best for spring and summer..
I think I’ll try MAC I’m a Lover. I bought Well Dressed a few times in the past which you rated as similar.
The Charlotte Tilbury and Clinique one look pretty good to me. I think I will have to investigate these…..
I have been obsessed with plum/burgandy/raspberry/wine blushes lately. The It cosmetics blush is calling my name! Love it!
I love your choices! My favorite is definitely the CT! Every one of her blushes have this insane perfection when applied.. So worth the money! I’m actually loving the brand as a whole, it’s my new bitch. 😉
I really want that MAC blush. It looks perfect for everyday wear
I love this post! I’ve been wanting a luminous blush for a long time, not too shimmery or frosted but luminous, as you described. Do you like Mac’s Lovecloud for this purpose as much as I’m A Lover? I remember your review of Lovecloud saying that it had a luminosity to it as well, I’m trying to decide between the two:)
Thanks for all your awesome posts and reviews!
Charlotte Tilbury Love Glow and Clinique Peach Pop are so prettyy!!
Just perfect for Spring.. 🙂
That clinique blush is too cute! I’m trying to get more into blush this year, so I will have to give this one a try. (:
I really need some more of the Pop blushes in my collection as I love the one I have! I’m loving the CT too!
