Comments that do not adhere to our comment policy may be removed. Discussion and debate are highly encouraged but we expect community members to participate respectfully. Please keep discussion on-topic, and if you have general feedback, a product review request, an off-topic question, or need technical support, please contact us!

Please help us streamline the comments' section and be more efficient: double-check the post above for more basic information like pricing, availability, and so on to make sure your question wasn't answered already. Comments alerting us to typos or small errors in the post are appreciated (!) but will typically be removed after errors are fixed (unless a response is needed).

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Definitely Nars. Audacious Lipstick + Dual Intensity eyeshadows were a total break through. Won me over completely. Is really all I can think of. Sure TFord drove us all insane this year, but as a brand, the introduction of two permanent lines of high performance products, such as the ones mentiones prior, is a far bigger accomplishment than the whimsical release of more unatainable limited edition gems.

So hard to decide which products to nominate! There have been so many amazing highlighters released this year, and deciding which blush formula to nominate was almost impossible (I ended up with Clinique Cheek Pops, mostly because they were new this year, Tom Ford and Burberry were the other two that I think deserves a nomination).

I can definitely say that I’m not brand loyal, I chose different brands in almost all categories, lol. My personal favorite this year is MUFE (with five nominations from me)!

I always love seeing the nominees. I’ll be sure to investigate all nominated brands and products, all while on a no-buy. Fingers crossed that I can actually manage it for the next three or four months at least! It’ll still be fun to see what hidden gems might show up. 🙂

I recently purchased L’oreal’s new Revitalift Volume Filler moisturizer (the one in the jar) and I LOVE It. It seems to blur complexion flaws and makes my skin look so much more perfect than I know it really is. Whatever is in this stuff, it’s great! I like the fragrance, too. It smells “familiar” but I can’t figure out the association. It’s one of my favorite things of the past calendar year. (I got it in January – does that count?)

For readers’ choice awards, we actually tried to really pare it back this year, because last year’s we expanded by a few and participation seemed to be a bit less/greater number of partials – there definitely seemed to be a threshold for how much time people were able to put in.

Man, a lot of the “new” products I tried in the past year weren’t new formulas, so…I’m guessing when the voting comes around, there will be something up there other people nominated that I tried and loved, but couldn’t remember if it was new or not.

Like, I’m always picking up drugstore lip products on a whim here and there when I’ve got a great CVS coupon or they have a good sale, but I can never remember how new some of them are.

Yay, I finished it! 🙂 well most of it. Actually, since I’ve started doing these, I think for the past… 2-3 years? I’ve actually had answers for more and more questions. I usually stick to the same old, same old. last year was a pretty fun year. thanks so much for letting me contribute!

I keep thinking of this whenever people bring up football, which I don’t care even a little bit about. This is like my makeup Super Bowl. haha. 🙂 Go MUFE and Sugarpill! lol

Every time I see the heading “2015 Readers’ Choice Awards”, I get all excited, thinking that the voting is open! Clearly, makeup has eclipsed a lot of other interest in my life to the point where I can hardly wait for this (and then the results!)
