Today, I’ll be sharing with you my favorite products that I’ve reviewed this year (both new-to-me and newly released). Last year, it was fun to see what the most popular posts were from the entire year, and this year, I wanted to continue the tradition of kicking off my 2014 favorites’ lists with a year-in-review for the blog. It was awesome to see NARS and Too Faced take places in the top posts this year, as last year was dominated by MAC/Urban Decay (which is still true).  It was also amazing to see how many readers visited the awards and the top 10 of 2013 posts throughout the year as well.  Hope you enjoy the ones for this year–incoming!! 🙂

Some of these are from 2013–is this a list of the most visited reviews for this year no matter when they were originally posted? (lol not criticizing, just confused–I love these lists!)

Hi Sarah,

Yes, it’s most popular posts (that aren’t like… page 2, 3, etc. or Dupe List/Swatch Gallery/Foundation Matrix, so actual blog posts) as in most visited for the year – regardless of when it was originally posted. 🙂 Last year, there were posts from a few years prior that were very popular!

I’m not surprised that MAC is leading, but given their release quality this year, I’m also not surprised that it’s the lipstick posts that are the most popular too! I think they tend to be more consistent with the quality of lipsticks than eyeshadows? At least that’s the way it’s seemed this year? I could be going mad, LOL!

I know I always gravitate to the lipstick posts first, from any brand, but that’s my beauty blog reading bias, showing through there, I think 😉
