  1. Ditto on Clinique’s Cheek Pop Blushes! I also like Chanel’s Notes du Printemps and Yves Saint Laurent’s Flower Crush. :)

Was the Too Faced Chocolate Bar, the two new blushes and the the 5 lipsticks a spring collection? If so, then that! I bought those 8 pieces.

  3. Jenni

    Paul & Joe Spring!

Your reviews make me want to get the clinique’s Berry pop!
But i already have the Chanel cream blush in Affinity and I looove it, and I’m waiting to receive TF’s Flush. Reasonably i dont need an other blush, but… :P

Guerlain’s Star dust nail polish is very lovely.
I tried it with the Dior gel coat in store, and i love the effect.
Now i’m thinking to get these 2 nail polishes.

YSL’s vernis a lèvre in 27, not sure if it’s new,
but i didnt saw it in stores since recently.
I have the 15, more dark in pink.
The 27 is a lighter peachy pink on my lips.
It protect my lips perfectly in winter, even better than the lip balms.
I’ve heard about TF’s new lipsticks, sounds they are really great too.

Try the Guerlain Star Dust with Dior Glow base coat; it gives the white a beautiful pinkish iridescent glow – can’t stop staring at my nails :)

  5. Probably NARS because I purchased the Kauai duo and love it. It’s one I wanted since first seeing it here and it’s really the only thing I’ve purchased from any new “collection” – all my other recent purchases are either permanent or predate “Spring” (the TF Chocolate Bar palette).

  6. It hasn’t released yet but I think the upcoming MAC Playland collection will be my fave. I’m a sucker for brights and neons so I know I’m going to go CRAZY lol.

NARS Final Cut! So pink, so shiny!!

  8. I loved the Dior Trianon collection. I picked up the Diorshow Fusion Mono Mattes in Fantaisie and Mirage and the lipgloss in Exquise. I loved the look of the palettes, but I didn’t indulge. The ad campaign, photos and concept, the packaging, the colours, all of it was so pretty, feminine and luxurious. I couldn’t wait for this one to come out.

  9. For a typical collection, I’m looking forward to A Fantasy of Flowers from MAC. But for smaller launches, it would be the Ambient Lighting Blushes from Hourglass!

  10. You know, I’ve felt that this year’s spring collections were a bit underwhelming. I don’t do well with pastel colors. Chanel’s was nice, but I didn’t indulge. I’m looking forward to the summer collections where bronzy-peachy tones suit my complexion a lot more.

NARS, if only for Kauai. The rest is beautiful, as well, but that is the most stunning duo I’ve seen in ages!

I got to swatch the Clinique blushes, but none will work for me. The texture/feel though!

I don’t own any yet, but I’m TOTALLY excited for Givenchy’s Over Rose Collection! Although it was “officially” released on January 21′ I haven’t been able to find it for sale on any US-based sites yet. Has anybody had any luck tracking this down, or just noticed it on a US site?

  14. Eileen

So far, there hasn’t been one collection that really knocked my socks off :-) I’ve picked up some beautiful pieces from Chanel, Guerlain, and Tom Ford. The collection I’m still eagerly anticipating, though, is Clé de Peau’s La Boheme.

    • Vera

Hi Eileen! Cle de peau is already available in Topanga mall at Neiman Marcus. I think it is there at least for one week and Beverly hills Neiman Marcus as well! I am waiting for February 18, when they will have gift with purchase. I will definitely get the new #14 illuminizing face inhancer. It is Gorgeous!

  15. Dior, NARS, and that clinque blush formula… I’m also looking forward to seeing more swatches from that Bobbi Brown lipstick release…

  16. I love Chanel’s dusky purple toned eyeshadows for this spring. They haven’t just gone with the average pastel theme

    Sleek!

The Garden Of Eden eye palette is so unusual (but wearable!) and the two new Blush by 3 trios are GORGEOUS. I have The OC blush cream from Californ.I.A. on today and it is just lovely.

  18. Christine, your reviews have me dying to get my hands on the Clinique blushes (Ginger Pop!) and the Nars Kauai eyeshadow duo. I think that January and February’s stressful work schedules call for a little retail therapy :D

  19. C

Guerlain’s light-themed stuff is gooorgeous this year.

Tom Ford and Cle de Peau

  21. I don’t know if there is one collection that’s blown me away. I really like bits of a lot of collections- Guerlain, Armani, Chanel, Dior and YSL… I just can’t pick one that blew me away.

Nothing prompted me to go the store. I keep thinking I need to get some of the better blushes that have been released, but the truth is I have too many already.
